Good cookbook for people with Crohn's Disease or Ulcerative Colitis
I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis years ago and have always suffered from stomach pains after I ate. I just chalked it up to the disease and lived with it. Now with all the talk about grain-free and gluten-free diets I had been doing some research on it. Amazon has lots of Healthy recipe cookbooks but I decided to try Healthy n' Wholesome Everyday Recipes: Wholesome Recipes with Non-Refined Food Ingredients. So I decided to go grain-free to see if it helped and after 2 days eating grain-free I no longer had those stomach pains after I ate. It is hard to completely change the way you eat, much less cutting out a whole food group out of your diet like grains. But grain-free diet is easier to manage than say, gluten-free. I have been pretty successful so far with my grain-free diet. As far as cutting out refined sugar, well I am taking that in baby steps, but I have started using raw unfiltered honey a lot of the time instead of sugar. These healthy recipes are very tasty and not too hard to make.

Pleased!
I have been searching for several months for healthy but tasty recipes which are hard to find with 6 in our household and so many different likes and dislikes. I was able to get several recipes from this book which means I am well pleased with it. I like how the recipes are named such as Easy Cheese Fries. I can write that on the menu but in my mind I know it is made from healthy ingredients.

Amazing recipes for those who
Amazing recipes for those who, like me, are always on the go but still want to follow a wholesome and nutritious diet. I love how convenient it is and you can’t beat the price, not that you can put a price tag on good health! Fresh and healthy meals are the way to go if you want to avoid the many diseases that plague millions of Americans today. Some of my family’s favorites are the Eggplant parmesan, mac and “cheese” please, and avocado pots!

Eating healthy sometimes isnt the fastest or has all the foods your used to. But this book does have a point. I know well that urge to just grab anything fast and easy when hungry. Society has grown accustomed to the "quick" answer to everything. And temptation is great when all you see around you is fast food and microwaved options. This book is the answer to the question "What can I eat thats quick yet good for me and keep me on my diet?.

Perfect Healthy meal ideas
Starting on a journey to health and weightloss and I wanted to add a few cookbooks to my library so i can never have an excuse to not make something good for me and my family. Worth every penny. Great snacks and meals ideas for everyone in my family. Great job by the author and look forward to trying all of these:)

I found this book to be put together really nicely. It is so easy to find anything that you may need as the book is broken into sections such as breakfast, dinner, meats, and even comfort foods. I especially love the Holiday cookbook. This book has it all and will definitely be one of my go to’s.

I love eating healthy
I love eating healthy. It just makes me feel good throughout my day. I am not a very good cook and I bought this book so that I work on my cooking while staying healthy. The recipes were pretty quick and easy to prepare, and what I have made so far has been delicious.

Great recipes that are easy to follow
This cookbook offers a great selection of natural foods for those looking for a healthy lifestyle and eating "clean". There is a wide selection of smoothies, Asian cuisines, snacks, breakfast, etc...The majority of ingredients are healthy but not boring. I particularly like the "On The Go Cookbook" section.
