Noise cancelation at its finest
Excellent noise cancelation. At an industrial environment with noise about 95 dB, you can listen to music or calls with 50% volume. Quality it's about ok, if you want a pair of earbuds with the same features but excellent quality you should look elsewhere.

ok noise cancelling, but the earphones are not hermetically sealed at all...
these are ok headphones, but I bought them after using the skullcandy bluetooth in-ear headphones, thinking the noise cancelling would make them a lot more isolating from outside noise. However the headphones themselves are really open at the back, so all outside noise gets in, especially if there is any wind, in which case forget being able to hear anything. I would recommend just getting the skullcandy or other good hermetically sealing in-ear headphones, which for 30 pounds do the same job but better.

Not great vs cheaper versions
Disappointed in these earphones. Not loud enough and poor quality feel.

The earphone doesn't lock on the collar and dangles all the freakin time
I bought this after a recommendation from a review site. Sound is ok for me but I don't use this on high to discernible volume so I can't really say. The noise cancelling is decent for the price, it's convenient especially on the plane. I guess my gripe is on the way you store them on the collar. Something magnetic like on the other collar types would be nice. Right now, I just let them dangle all the time.

Great headphones.

Sound quality is very bad, for both units purchased.
We had high hopes for this product but have found on using it the last 2 weeks that the sound quality when calling a user is appalling.

Awesome product at a reasonable price. The noise cancellation works well and the battery holds good. The build quality is good and the band is comfortable around the neck. I bought it at a price of Rs. 6,749/-

Solid headphones for 2 years, lost them and buying another set!
Pro tip: Don't set things on top of the trunk of your car, you will forget it's there and drive away. I think my BT 100's are on the highway somewhere probably smashed to bits. That said, I used these every day, all day, for 2 years and they've been great. Since I lost them I have been using wired headphones, and I'm really missing my BT100's. Range - I'm in conference calls almost all day, in the car and in the office. These served me perfectly as a bluetooth headset. The range is amazing, I could walk to the other side of the office and still hear everything. The microphone quality is great, I don't think anyone could tell I was using a headset most of the time. I did use these for music and streaming as well, but mostly for calls. Battery life - The battery life is great unless you are using the ANC - I found it would drain within a few hours but I didn't really use it that often. Without the ANC on, I could go 2-3 days of constant use before needing a charge. I use a battery pack in my backpack to charge them at the end of the day and I've only run out of juice twice in 2 years. Features - The ability to plug them in like a set of wired headphones is great when you're out of batteries - it didn't happen often since I didn't use ANC much but it was great when I needed it. Storage - The wire length adjustment clips are easy to lose, and I rarely stowed the ear pieces inside the little compartment. It was just too much of a hassle to try to fit them in and take them out. It would also get kind of gross in there. I just left the earbuds flop around in my backpack. I was initially worried it would bend the wires and wear them out, possibly break them, but it didn't. Earbuds - The sound is great but they did seem rather large and had a habit of slipping out of my ears. The plastic is rather smooth, and maybe I was not using the right size for the rubber things. I've looked at some of the other models from Phiaton to get an upgrade, but it seems that the BT100 is still the best option, buying my new set right now.

Essential Gear for Open Office Survival!
I was in line to buy this the moment it came off the factory floor and will most likely pick up a second one so I'll never be without :) I had wanted to try the previous model with the NC hardware in the pendant, but knew that having the pendant to deal with would have driven me crazy. And this headset was WORTH the WAIT - YES!!! Precisely what I was looking for!! Wanted a headset that was: 1. Wireless - BT (and BONUS! this one pairs with TWO devices...in my case: an iPhone and Lenovo Carbon X1) 2. Lightweight 3. Small ear tips - could be a TAD smaller, but fit is pretty good 4. Good battery life - so far, so good - but still getting to know the headset 5. ACTIVE NOISE CANCELLATION!!! Is it the best? Most likely no, but is it effective? HELL YEAH! Coworker yacking in your ear? Flip on the active noise cancellation and make the coworker recede out of your EARSPACE! Works well on BART too! Diminishes the train sound AND almost makes the braying bro' talk of pre-IPO hipsters completely vanish, leaving you to enjoy your commute in (relative) peace. 6. NOT over the head! YES! Doesn't press on your glasses or mess with your spiky do! 7. NOT over the ears - for those of us who run hot, this is very important! 8. BONUS: incoming call? The neckband vibrates...ok, so it feels like a shock collar for a dog, but it's actually quite handy. 9. When you turn it on, a helpful voice tells you, "power on, device connected" - no more embarrassing moments when you start up your Soundshade Japanese Garden for everyone in the office to hear because you didn't realize that your BT headset wasn't really connected. 10. AND...should you run out of battery, you can still plug in with the included adapter (haven't had to use this, but good to have) 11. Buttons are easy to operate and logical (to me) For audiophiles, music may sound a bit tinny or compressed (you can't have it all...yet...and especially not for this price point). For listening to podcasts or streaming radio, the headset is PERFECT! Thus far, I've noticed that when connected to a video call - the audio became garbled a few times, but plugging and unplugging a regular headset into the jack "reset" the audio and corrected the problem. While using the headset with the laptop for a webinar, the audio disconnected, but was easily restarted. I haven't tested these potential issues thoroughly, but they were not enough to detract from just how AWESOME this headset is! Also cannot yet speak to how well others hear you when making phone calls, but doesn't seem to be worse than any other headsets I use. One oddity: when out of range of your paired device, the headset vibrates (presumably to alert you to having gone out of range). At first, this was a bit disconcerting, but then I learned to either take my device with me or power off the headset (helpful voice tells you, "power off" - no more wondering if you really turned it off or not!). Lastly, have not tried wearing during a workout, so cannot speak to how well these will hold up to strenuous activities!

Good sound, fit, and basic noise cancelling - best I could find to replace my QC20i
I'm impressed with the audio quality and overall performance of this headset so far. I haven't had it long, so I will update my review if things change. Short version: I was looking for a wireless alternative to my Bose QC20i noise cancelling headphones. I'm tired of the wire and my iPhone no longer has a headphone port. However, replacing the QC20i was really hard because I really liked the comfortable fit, excellent noise cancellation, and great sound of the Bose. The Phiaton BT 100 NC are the 6th bluetooth set I've tried over the last few months and they're the only ones that were close enough to the Bose to be a worthy replacement. Nose cancelling, audio quality, and comfortable fit are all slightly less impressive on the Phiaton, but given the lack of other alternatives at any price and the huge benefit of no wires, I'm pleased - especially at this price! Others I tried: Beats x ... price about $20-$50 more than the Phiaton depending on the sale price ... problem with the Beats: they had a very difficult to use power button, they didn't fit well at all no matter what I tried (the rubber ear tips are hard), and they offered no noise cancellation. Sound quality on these was poor for me because I couldn't get a good fit. I also hated the way you turned them on and off and was annoyed every time I used them. Apple AirPods ... price about double compared to Phiaton ... comfort was OK, didn't fall out, audio quality was great as long as I was holding them into my ears with my fingers. Unfortunately, the AirPods do not offer any type of seal and were not enjoyable to listen to in anything other than a quiet enviornment. I found it annoying to try to keep up with the two separate tiny AirPods and the charging case. They also didn't offer play/stop, next track, or volume controls on the headphones themselves. If you have an Apple watch, that isn't a problem as the watch has these buttons automatically when listening to AirPods, but ... overall, I wasn't interested in keeping the AirPods mostly because the sound quality was bad unless you were forcing them into your ears with your fingers constantly. Note: the microphone was very good on these and they were the fastest by far to connect and to use Siri. Bose QC30 ... almost four times as expensive as the Phiaton.... I actually tried the Bose Qc30 when they first came out about a year ago and liked everything about them EXCEPT the Bluetooth reception was TERRIBLE! If you put your phone in your pocket, they would break up. If you went outside, they would break up. If you moved your arm between the headset and your phone, they would break up. It was really a mess! I recently bought a new set that was manufactured in July 2017 and updated the firmware and they were still awful. Also, the microphone for calls and Siri was so bad on these it was almost useless. JBL Everest 100 or 110... don't recall exactly ... but they were a Best Buy exclusive that had noise cancelling. Well, they claimed they did - the noise cancelling on the JBL was almost impossible to detect any difference when on vs off. The worst problem with the JBL was the poor design - they actually includes little wedges to add to the neck band as an afterthought because they wanted to fall off constantly. Also, the earbuds were painful and hard and didn't offer a good fit. These were some of the worst of all that I tried. I think I tried a few other sets, but I can't recall the details now. Anyway, as you can tell, I was so thoroughly unimpressed with all the others based on comfort, fit, and performance that even though these Phiaton are not quite as good as my old wired Bose, I will be keeping these and enjoy the freedom of wire-free noise cancelling headphones. I can think of plenty of small things about the Phiaton that I would improve, but for the price these certainly can't be beat. I have the EQ settings on my phone on R&B for these headphones, as I find they lack the bass I like, but the bass holds up well when using the EQ. The microphone is not as good as a wired set, but it is close and callers have not complained yet.
