Great for clearing up minor floor messes

I have used this particular vacuum for the last year at my job. I have never had a positive experience with portable vacuums like this before. BUT I have to tell you this is the BEST one I have ever used. It picks up great, has great suction (when something does not get stuck in the attachment) and we have had the same filter in it since before I started working there (my one year anniversary was yesterday) and I loved how it worked so much I found it here on Amazon and bought it! I am very happy with this purchase. Well worth it to me

Not a ton of suction but works great for small jobs. Perfect for cleaning metal shavings after drilling a can for conduit installs and sheetrock dust on old work installs.

So we have like 5 of these, and our neighbors also have 3 of them. We just put them everywhere and it helps clean up for everything. Literally my favorite tool hands down lol I recommend keeping them all over the house. The suction is always good and they are super easy to empty.

With 3 dogs and 2 cats there is always little messes. In our area the Japanese beetles that look like lady bugs and elder bugs take over every spring and it’s so easy to get rid of them all.0 it’s lightweight enough to hold up and do ceiling fans and cobwebs. Definitely recommend if you have any little mess makers!

So based on the reviews, I bought this- Firstly I love Milwaukee M12/M18 and have many of these tools (hence why I bought the tool only Vacuum) I have several Pack-outs too and am a brand loyalist.This vacuum is used for very light work, basically it is used to suck up concrete dust during drilling- I use an M12 SDS and put up a lot of TV's, Curtain Rods, Mirrors, Shelving etc (My wife is an interior decorator).On my 3rd time of using it (despite emptying and cleaning the filter) it just had very little suction, it was so bad that even placing the nozzle against the hole and having the dust basically "pour" into the vacuum, once switched off, the dust just fell out.If the nozzle wasn't very close to the surface, it would not pick up anything.I am very disappointed, this I consider a fail vs many many successes and will continue buying Milwaukee.The M18 vacuum is just too expensive for what I would use it for, so am opting for a 3rd party unit that works with the M18 batteries.

I wanted this to keep in my tool bag for small messes on the job. For very light debris like dust it works ok, but for things like crumbled drywall or copper wire trimmings it often struggled to lift them off the floor. Specifically I was hoping this could pull dust out of the hole after I drill into concrete so I don't have to lug around a shopvac every time but it doesn't do very well in that situation. I've tried it with several different batteries and even with the 4Ah battery the suction is poor. It comes in handy sometimes and it works well enough that I keep it on hand but I often have to do additional cleanup along side vacuuming.

Love this thing! Great suction and lightweight. The adapters are perfect for getting into the corners and such on our fixtures were making to clean out whatever debris gets in there. Our poor shop vac hardly gets used now that we bought this.

I like the design and it's very handy but the suction is not strong enough.
