Got this for my Q1000. Complete gamechanger. No clue how I used the grill before them. I will admit I used them for a month before I realized they fold flat if you fold them into the grill before closing the lid.

This Weber original fits prefect and turns a Q1000 into a Q1200 with side tables.
This Weber original fits prefect and turns a Q1000 into a Q1200 (kinda) with side tables. Because it's factory it has the lighting and safety instructions on the right side table, that is actually a very nice feature to have. You just need a big slot screwdriver or a #20 torx to loosen a couple bolts and the table fits right in like it was made for it. Because it was made for it ...all the q series have the same base so it is super easy to do, the holes are already in your existing base. So if you bought one thinking you didn't need the side tables and then changed your mind you are good to go! Hope this helps.
