Freedom from the stranglehold of food
For anyone who has ever dieted and then put it back on (and more), this book is the one. Made me smile, nod and feeling a little sad at times - the book includes sections written by ordinary people who have a love// hate relationship with food.. Potentially life changing and if not that then definitely thought provoking.Great quality and value for money

Not what I thought it would be.
Couldn't wait to get this book, but some of the chapters were frustrating, not what I thought it was, but have some of her other books and they are really good and helpful.

Enlightening
Great book which has made me realise that other people experience the same issues as I do!

I read this book years ago and it really 'spoke to me', I had borrowed it from my local library - when I wanted to read it a year or so later I couldn't get it for love nor money - my library said it was no longer in print. So very excited to order my very own copy today. It really tells the truth about how it feels to be completely out of control with food - I know how it feels to change the price labels on a packet of biscuits to cover up eating a whole packet in one sitting.I underwent a gastric bypass in the hope of finally getting thin 3 years ago - but have since found a new way of 'feeding my hungrey heart' - alcohol. I'm praying that by reading Gineen's book again I can look at my need to feed - and stop what has become a far more destructive addition - all those thinking surgery is the answer beware where your need to feed will lead you.

Feeding the hungry heart
This book is very insightful but doesn't really give you the solution to breaking free
