Dollhouse Miniature 1/24 Scale Staircase Kit by Houseworks

This product is of really good quality, real wood not chipboard. However, it is too large for 1/24 scale application in a standard staurway setting in the Greenleaf and Real Good Toys model houses. Because I build miniatures of my own design, and due to it being such h good quality, I did not send it back. I will use it elsewhere It is however too small for use in 1/12 scale as a conventional staircase

I was working on a 1/24" scale project. This staircase was 1/2". I had to cut it to make it fit. The construction was good, the corners were square and risers were even. I'll buy another to construct my next project. It was a nice addition to my project.

I am disappointed. In the Product Information section, it says it measures 9"x2.1x0.5 inches. I just received this today and it is 7"x about 1.5". This will not fit my dollhouse. I would like to return it.That being said, it is a kit and it looks like it has easy to follow instructions. And, it arrived quickly. If it was the correct size, I would certainly keep it.

Terrible product! I got two of these kits and ended up ruining one. The other looks pretty crummy but will be in a place where it won’t show much. I’m an experienced miniaturist so I thought assrmbly would be a snap. I followed the instructions, which are pretty sketchy, but itvwas like trying to herd cats; as soin as I thought I had part if it together, another part would pop loose. Spindles broke, the railing wouldn’t stay glued—definitely an exercise in frustration. I just ordered a preassembled staircase and chalked one up to experience. A 1/12 kit might be doable, but I doubt it.
