Not for use in video camcorders!
This might be great for cleaning magnetic tape data storage used for backup in computer systems in the '80s & '90s with the same brand name.However it will do nothing for a video head in a Hi8 camcorder.

The 8 mm 18 C primary cleaner did not work. The tape did not clean hands on my Sony Hi8 Handycam
The item was advertised as being able to clean your 8 mm cam corder.I made several attempts to clean the heads of my sauna high definition 8 mm handy cam recorder to clean up the heads on the recorder so my tapes would work properly. The head cleaning tape did not do anything far as cleaning a heads on my sauna handy cam. The hair cleaning tape did not work this is why I am returning it.
