Lightweight
Arthritis in hands made handling heavy stone ware dishes uncomfortable. Corelle is light weight, strong, does not chip or break easily. The simple pattern of blue paint spatters will mix and match with my current serving pieces.. Like that Corelle Blue Indigo was available in service for 6 rather than service for 4.

Went back to old standby...Corelle!
I've had Corelle in the past and always liked it. Changed to stoneware for the choice of patterns. Went back to Corelle because they don't chip like stoneware. Love my new pattern too.

Thin and light
I purchased these to replace stoneware that was just to bulky and heavy. This Corelle dinnerware is light, looks good, and feels well made. I have had Corelle in the past and it had always held up well.

Good purchase regardless of gap
The media could not be loaded. Really happy with this set. They arrived all in one piece. My bundle is a bit odd since they don’t exactly lay flat and flush together.. some edges have a gap when stacked together 🥴 but still gave it 5 stars.

Light weight plates and bowls
We ordered this set because our old ceramic dishes were becoming chipped and broken, and quite frankly were just starting to be a little bit heavy for us to be putting up into the cabinets. These are quite light and have a a nice pattern. There was however a slight chip in one of the dinner plates. After a bit of sanding with emery paper and buffing with a buffing wheel I was able to make the chip un-noticeable so we're not going to go thru the bother of returning the set. I think that in the future I would buy the set at a brick and mortar to avoid the extra handling which probably caused the chip.

And this is why it was a great gift.UPDATE
They are sturdy. lightweight. and absolutely astounding. I traveled to Florida with friends who have 5 kids under the age of 7 (at that time) The oldest was goofing off at supper and dropped one of our hosts plate. On the tile floor. I thought he was going to crawl into the tile grout. ( I think he did too) but much to his relief, it didn't break. or chip, or crack. And he stopped goofing around. I had his mom pick out the design, and that was their housewarming. I've been over to their home twice, they use it regularly and even the 4 year old is handling plates well. My only complaint is the patterns.. She loves theem, I long for black and white checks on the rims.. or at least bolder colors and better designs. But these are well worth the investment if you have kids you're trying to train and you want sturdy and pretty.\\ UPDATE: They've had this set for nearly a year, with 5 kids under the age of 9. No cracks, breaks, chips, still in perfect condition, and all but the baby ( 1 yr 5 mo) use them. She loves the pattern, and they take up very little space in her cabinets. Excellent for this family!!
