We just received this product, and, so far, so good. I am very, very pleased with the quality of the shelves and the boxes. One suggestion might be to overlay the top with some kind of low-profile carpeting so that the cats have something to grab hold of with their claws if they need to. That's important for the cat's confidence and safety. Installation was time consuming (which should be expected and obvious anyways), but it was easy to install. The pieces can be arranged in different ways; they don't have to match the picture's arrangement. And you don't have to have studs. We used the hardware and wall anchors that came with the product to mount it anywhere on the wall we desired. I will update when my cats start using it more. They are nervous about the loose ladders, which may mean buying a couple more shelves so they can use and get to the boxes. If we were Sea World, we could train the cats to be okay with those, but I'm not really sure I can, haha. Anyways, fantastic work! This set is truly an efficient, high-quality piece of art!In the picture: The bridge from one part to another is not part of this product. We used it to attempt to keep heavy boxes from hanging over our heads while we slept. Did not quite accomplish that. However, you can see that we were able to split the different parts up in different ways quite easily. Our cats LOVE this product, and two of them have slowly but surely begun testing the ladders :).***We have had this for around a year, I think? Time flies by so quickly! The cats still LOVE this, and a couple of them use the ladders! DEFINITELY worth the money if your cats love to climb and be up high. (Not all cats will love it depending on their personalities. We do have one cat that simply prefers the ground and does not like being up high at all.)

These are very well built. We didn’t use the hardware that came with it as it was cheap. Other than that, they are great! They clme unfinished so we decided to paint ours white. I also bought some carpeting at Lowes and added it to the top. I didn’t use the ladder pieces but only because I thought my fat cats would fall or be scared of walking on the planks.

The media could not be loaded. It’s great but it needed quite a bit of work. I added carpet to make it more safe for the cats. I also painted it to match the walls of my room. It took a while for the cats to be interested in it because they were used to a traditional cat tree, but after about a week they got used to it. Also the screw anchors that came with it we’re not good. So we instead screwed the set into the studs of the wall which required us to re-drill the holes on the boxes (because they weren’t wide enough.) But after all that they love it and so do I because it’s out-of-the-way and it looks kind of cool. We also added a 10 foot PVC pipe cat tree that helps them to get up and down especially the kitten because the shelves are a little far off the ground.

I really like these shelves. I was a little hesitant bc of the cost but I'm glad I got them.They are shocking light weight but very durable. Installation took two of us the better part of 2 hours. I attached the shelves to my drywall, making sure I hit the wooden stud with at least one screw. They've held up very well even under the weight of my one enormous, fat cat. Plus, they look so much better than the cheap cats trees that I had before. In summary, it's a good buy for the price and your cat(s) will love it.Btw- the picture includes a large cat scratcher and clear bubble shelve that DIDNT come with the kit. We added those extra.

One of the boxes fell right out of the wall while my cats were on it. It's very lucky that I was standing right there and was able to catch it before it fell. The drywall anchors stayed in the wall just fine, the problem is the screws don't properly tighten and are fairly easy to remove from the anchors. Aside from this though, the actual shelves themselves are nice, but it defeats the purpose if they can't stay in the wall.

The kit is definitely the most economical bundle of cat wall shelves, but the sturdiness of the materials is part of that price point. We received ours mostly whole but one shelf was split down the wood grain. We noticed that the shelf was missing brads holding the shelf to the brackets. I attempted to report it to the vendor but had no way to do so. Reporting a damaged product thru Amazon, I was offered either a direct replacement with item return [headache] or full refund, which is great but also not warranted in my opinion with one part out of 6 or 8 broke. At least this broken part is manageable with the right tools.

Very nice workmanship. I will be painting each piece before mounting to make the ensemble look like a true part of the room. Will use my own mounting hardware (screw in anchors when mounting to a stud is not feasible) rather than the hardware provided. I marked the product down one star only because I wish the strapping connecting the steps on the ladders could be customized. Mine are orange...will definitely be disassembling & replacing with a color that works with my decor.Update: I ended up not using the bridge pieces.

This is a wonderful set. We ordered two sets. We had stairs from another company that we added in and they matched pretty darn good. Our cats love it. Good product for the money. Thank you so much! We did not use everything on this wall but we will on another wall.
