My older dog
My older dog, now 10, began taking these about a year or so ago. She loves the taste and is eager for "Medicine Time!" in the morning. She had begun to slow down and be less playful, napping more in her comfy open-door crate. After being on these chewies for about a week, she perked up and was actually frisky. I need to add that I also started her on a new dog food (Purina ProPlan Bright Minds Age 7+), so it's possible that the combination may be the winning formula. I break these apart into several tiny bites so she can enjoy it as a treat for a few seconds, as opposed to her wolfing it down, barely tasting it. These are expensive, but they're worth it for the result and her delight. She's now getting them every other day, with a Cosequin tablet on the off days.

Bought for my Corgi
My Corgi has hip and lower back pain. She takes 1/2 of one of these each day to help with that. It seems to work really well as long as she doesn't overdo. She loves the taste of them - they are her morning treat for when she gets into her kennel for the day while I am at work. Great product and I would recommend them for all sizes of dogs. There are 60 chews in a bag and I get 120 chews out of it for her since I cut them in half. Help your pet feel less pain and stiffness for older age and arthritis. My Corgi is 13 and has been taking them for almost a year now.

Solves one problem, not the other
This specific product was recommended by our vet for a congenital issue our dog has with a rear leg. It has been great for that and the dog doesn't seem to notice he has a bum leg. But six months ago he developed arthritis in a foreleg and the Vetriflex doesn't seem to do much, if anything, for that. As for value, it's a little cheaper on Amazon than from our vet.

After 3 months use, good results
When I first got these I wrote a positive review, because of the quality of the company and the fact that my cat ate them. After 3 months they really seem to be helping Stormy’s mobility, and he continues to eat them. He’s actually been able to chase the red dot! I would certainly give them a try, just remember it will take a few months to see an improvement.

Great supplement for arthritic conditions and mild hip dysplasia
I started giving this supplement to my 13 yr old Aussie after her physical therapist recommended it. It seems to help. she was on glucosamine max strength tabs for arthritis and was changed to this supplement. She has recovered well from the dropping of her back feet. The physical therapist also recommended this supplement for my other dog who has mild hip dysplasia.

Pain free dogs!
Both my 11 year old dogs have severe arthritis and let me tell you. OMG!! is this a God sent. You have to really play with the doses to get it right. And make sure you give it the same time everyday with a little food and what a complete 180. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!

Leg joint 'inoperable' - works again!
About 15 months ago, our 8-year-old rescue came to us with an injured back leg - we called it the 'dangler.' Izzy had been seen by three vets and two surgeons with no options identified to make that leg more useful than a 'peg' used for balance. After tearing the ACL in her "good" back leg, post surgery our vet recommended giving her a daily dose of VetriFLEX. After approximately one month, unexpectedly, Izzy is using the 'dangler' to actually walk. It seems the bad leg needs to get 'warmed up' in the morning or after a long nap, but we are thrilled that she is using both back legs on our twice daily walks!
