This is great to stash in the car and fish right off the side of the boat at the lake. Works great for catching crappies! Nice little pole, would be awesome for a kid.

My cat sitter recommended this to play with my cats--it's way better than the little short-string fishing poles you get for about as much money at a "big box" or pet store. Since it's collapsible I can keep it nearby and it keeps them entertained longer than the pet store poles since they can run all the way across the room to where I cast their "worm" or "fish." The line seems way too thin to catch an actual fish, however unless it's between a minnow and a perch. It lasted a long time before popping even though one of my two cats likes to chew on the line. It took me a while to re-thread it because the weight kept getting stuck between the sections of the pole and wouldn't fall all the way down.

Excellent for children under six. Easy to use, no tangles and telescopic feature great for travel.

I love this little rod, caught me a fish on day 2 and I just got it to keep busy while my son fishes!

Went fishing off the dock and snapped in half first time i used it. Fish wasn’t bigger than 6” at best. Definitely not worth the money.

Perfect for my 4 year old to go fishing with Dad. Line doesn't tangle and just long enough for her to handle. Much better quality than the kids poles we've tried
