Solid, performs well, some plastic parts
These faucets were a perfect fit and a lot more substantial than I expected. They are solid. Easy to install and work well. The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is that the tail piece is plastic.

Leak issues resulting from poor product design
Delta replaced two faucets totally at their expense including shipping due to leak problems. Without the aerator screwed into any of the four faucets Everything works perfect . Now screw the aerator into the faucet and even thou water comes out of the aerator, water also backs up through the unit and leaks out the stopper rod hole. This occurred on four new faucets. Interesting enough, just randomly switching the same new aerators between the new faucets resulted in working faucets. That surprised me. This indicates a faucet design issue and not an aerator issue. I partially dismantled one faucet only to find the faucet neck connecting to the aerator used a small diameter plastic tube line . I believe this causes back water pressure when the aerator is screwed in. That in turn causes the leak. Right or wrong , that leak occurs. And next, the aerator is made of METAL being threaded into a cheap PLASTIC finely threaded female fitting. Hope you never have to screw the aerator in more than twice because you will most likely strip the plastic threading. Finally, the faucet metal is so thin it won't last long. Delta has produced some very good products in the past. This just isn't one of them.

This turned out to be a water A-bomb. You'd expect better from Made In USA. But in this case, no. Back it went. It's replacement: A Moen single-lever unit installed by my plumber, who had to be called in on account of the Delta faucet's catastrophic failure when the water was turned back on. (Sigh.)
