The Cat In The Window, Stories With Heart
This book was obviously put together by a person who loves and feels the very real tug of each animal's personality and individual worth. Each story was well written. As a cat person myself, I can identify with each and every cat's story in this all too short book. I thoroughly enjoyed each cat's life story and the humans they came to own. Each individual story was a pleasure to read and at the end, I was left wishing for more.I hope Ms. Calli S. Grant will continue with another book, possibly revisiting some of these wonderful humans and cats along with new cats and their humans. More stories, please??!!

A passel of cats
I'm a cat lover whose circumstances prevent me from hosting a cat companion now. I miss sharing life with a pet. So, the name of this book caught my fancy. The writing is spotty in this collection, as might be expected since the ability of the contributors varies. Likewise the stories vary from very good to not-so-good. I would have liked it better if there had been more art. Photos or sketches to represent the cats as described in the stories rather than the one cat used throughout would have helped draw the reader in more. I was only moderately satisfied with this book and feel it's grossly overpriced.

cats, cats and more cats
This is story after story about cats. There is nothing really sad. It is a lighthearted read. If you love cats, you will love this book.I plan to order the book before this one The Cat on my Lap. I love books with stories written by multiple authors. All the stories in this book were well written and very good. It is appropriate for all ages. Worth the money.

Feline Buffet
Like a buffet (without kids sneezing on the food) this book provides short, deliciously sweet stories about cats and their relationships with their people. From strays to rescues to long-term relationships to short-term relationships, this book is full of precious accounts of cats and their people. Because each story can be read in just a few minutes, this is the perfect book for carrying with you to the doctor's office or for consuming in your spare time. Great work collecting these tidbits, Ms. Grant!

Read it; you'll love it
I'm a soft touch for cats. Currently my household includes four: one I bottle fed from the age of two weeks after his feral mother disappeared, two sisters from the Humane Society who look just like him, and a sweet tortie who was headed for the shelter after her "mama" died. These stories likewise reflect the myriad ways our furbabies come into our lives and bond so closely with us. They are heart-warming, funny, and sometimes even infuriating. Read it; you'll love it.

For Cat Lovers
I am always amazed at the differences in cat behaviors among cats. Each cat has it's own unique personality, likes and dislikes, much like we do. These stories written by cat owners demonstrate and celebrate all the quirky and fun differences of cats.

This may surprise dog lovers!
For all cat lovers, and an interesting introduction to the feline world for those who see cats as sleepy puddings with little intelligence.
