A: yes and it is good enough strong to hold the weight upto I believe 100 kg. I am almost 92 kgs and using this chain almost all the day in lockdown period while working from home. :)

A: leg rest is not adjustable. As the  back rest reclines the leg rest comes up , it is a single piece.  The  leg rest automatically  adjusts to sitting position with out the recline

**Q: Can I use this for working on a laptop kept on a table in front of this chair?**
A: no
