We measured the hitch on our 5th wheel and also had it measured by the guy who installs these things, and all measurements pointed to this hitch being the right one. It wasn't. I still believe the model number was correct; however, I'm thinking we were sent the wrong one. It had some weird pieces on the inner edges that we had to have a welder modify. We had to get creative to get this thing to attach to the trailer too. Not very safe when you're towing thousands of pounds. I'm sure it's an excellent quality capture plate, but you'd better be sure the seller sends you the right one. You can check measurements multiple times and still end up with a problem.

Only had a set screw to hold it in place. Worked fine while towing because the pin lock kept it in place. As soon as I stopped and unhooked from the 5th wheel hitch, the capture plate would fall off. Going to have to spot weld to keep it in place.
