I used these as gaskets on lids/caps that I drilled holes to insert airlocks into. They work great. Malleable enough to fit around hole and airlocks fit snug inside them for no air leaks.

They are made for airlock grommet for fermenting beer or wine. I also used it to ferment food in the Mason jar. It was awesome.The air lock is inserted into the gasket to completely ensure the sealing of the air lock,prevent bacteria from entering, fermented food tastes particularly good!!!

My husband stamped holes in my wide mouth canning lids, and the grommets slipped right in. I will be using these for fermenting valves.

They are rubber grommets it’s hard for me to imagine what you would need to know in a review about them. Their mouth can fit a pencil tightly.

I'm using these for brewing mead and wine. They work perfectly with the "S" shaped airlocks if you were wondering. These are really food grade silicone which is much safer for use with food stuff verses rubber.

Ended up not needing them, but would of worked great.

I bought a bunch of rubber grommets and they would split apart after one use. These worked great. These have enough pliability and being food grade silicon won't add a rubber flavor.

As long as you're careful with the drilling the grommets are airtight and very consistent with the shape
