I purchased my first Turtleback holster in 2016 for my new iPhone SE. For nearly 5 years I carried that holster around with me, and I loved every minute of it. I recently upgraded to the 2020 version of the iPhone SE, and without hesitation I went in search of another Turtleback holster for that phone. This one is a little bigger, of course, but everything I loved about my old holster is still there - the top-quality leather, the great belt clip, the strong magnetic pouch closure...and the fact that it’s made in the USA. Just for fun I spent some time looking at what else is out there, and to me nothing even comes close. I got this holster, slid my new SE 2020 into it, and instantly knew I was in for another 5 years of holster satisfaction. Great holster; I give it my highest recommendation.

This case fits my iPhone 6 with a Pong thin case and a glass screen protector perfectly. It's conservatively designed with great quality materials and the strongest belt clip you could ever want. I mean it’s like military-grade strong, and my old case's plastic clip just broke off when I sat down in my car (not a very tough test, in my opinion). Won’t be a problem with this one! Also, the clip will rotate and can be removed if you rotate the case to the upside-down horizontal position (so it won’t just come off accidentally). The nice thing, to me, is that the iPhone 6 with slim case and glass screen protector fits just right, not too tight, and there is a little finger hole at the bottom of the case that allows you to push up the phone after you open the case, so that you can retrieve it quickly and easily. I really had to tug my phone from my old case, using two hands, and often missed calls while trying to retrieve it. Yes, this case costs a little more, but it will last (and is upwardly compatible with newer iPhone models). And it’s made in the USA.

This is a very well made case that fits my iPhone 7 in Otterbox Commuter case perfectly. The clip is heavy duty. I've had enough things with thin plastic clips break to appreciate the metal clip. The rotating mechanism feels solid, with discrete stops as the internal spring moves along the ridged mechanism. It stays put in whatever position you put it in, but you can still rotate it with no trouble. I've used it vertically more than I thought I would. The magnetic closure is secure and I have no worries wearing the case vertically. The nylon and threading look black and high quality.I bumped one star off because the clip in the horizontal position makes most of the case ride below the belt level. Maybe it's easier to get at because it sits below a t-shirt or something, but I'd rather it ride higher on the waist. Overall it's a minor personal preference. I'm very happy with this case and would recommend it.

So far, this is the best case I have had for my iPhone 7. I have a Mophie Battery Case on my phone, and it fits great! Snug (not tight) fit so that the phone is secure and the finger detent for removing the phone is very functional and effective! I would have rated this at 5 stars, but I noticed that the interior of the case is causing a black transfer onto my red Mophie case... Not a deal breaker for me, but kind of annoying. If you have a black protective case on your phone, this will not be an issue.

Works well with iPhone 8 with an Otterbox or similar case on the phone - I wore out one of them with my iPhone 6. My only caveat is that I wish it were made out of full grain leather, instead of "bonded leather" which is actually a material made of leather scraps and shreds bonded to some type of polymer - it does not wear as long as genuine leather, but the last one I had lasted a couple of years of everyday use.

Great case, fits my iPhone X in its Apple leather case perfectly. I've had similar Turtleback cases before and they typically take a lot of abuse without showing significant wear. The clip is the weak point and it begins getting looser and a gap develops as it enters the body of the case after 8 months of hard wear, but it is still quite serviceable. In all, a good value and of a qualitythat is hard to find at any price.

I’ve had lots of belt clip phone holsters. None are even close to the quality or performance of this one. The metal belt clip and the connective metal mechanism to the case, are strong and secure. I really like the ability to rotate the case upside down, and slide it off the belt clip, without removing the clip from the belt itself. Heavy duty and well worth every penny.

I owned the same case for a smaller phone for three years. It still looks like new. Belt clip works like the day that I received it. It costs more than the other brands, but it will last longer than your phone.

Real leather, had one for my previous phone and was still in good condition after five years daily use.
