The Tragedy of Fatima Daughter of Prophet Muhammad: Doubts cast and Rebuttals
R**!
Lots of plots and intrigues are laid bare, there will be hell to pay on the day of judgement.
Looking for a strong female role model? Well look no further, Khadija, Fatima and Zainab a.s, three generations, from one family and no other woman comes close to matching their nobility and courage, their sacrifices for truth and justice in face of so much oppression, even after fourteen centuries, their enemies are trying to destroy their message, Petro dollars funded preachers are every where, trying to stifle any voice that dares to differ, but they and jihadi armies and blood thirsty tyrants like ISIS are nothing new. Read about those who inspire such barbarians. Read about things that have been kept secret for over fourteen hundred years. But this needs to be a calm and academic endeavor instead of mudslinging and screaming which will lead to hate and division, but why bother at all? It is dealt with brilliantly by the author.Fatima and the attack on her home and her death from injuries from that attack has divided opinions on both sides. It is a very difficult issue for both sides, those who believe she was killed, like her father, silently, with plausible deniability. Those that differ deny that such attack took place, she just suddenly died aged18, the event and pledge of allegiance at Ghadeer never happened or the arabic of some Muslims is better than the prophet's Arabic who, god forbid, failed to clarify if he just meant Ali to be friend of all those who followed the prophet and not their Lord and Master, when he announced that Ali is Moula of who anyone I am Moula of.Chose your own meaning, but friend or master leads to either Imam Ali and Moaviya or Imam Hussain or Yazid and then to sects and schools of jurisprudence, to Isis and their supporters and patrons or those who oppose them. Simple words that decide who Muslims follow, the family of the prophet or the family of Abu Sufyan, the leader of those that wanted to destroy Islam for 20 years, who killed and tortured musilms in Mecca until they fled to Habsha or Medina, who led army after army as he tried to destroy Islam until he changed his mind when he saw an army he could not defeat. If you can't beat them than why not join them, but why was his son ruling Syria, Jordan, Israel, Palestine and Lebanon just 7 years after the prophet's death in year 18 Hijari?Debates have raged about who is the right and who is wrong. Ghadeer, Sakeefah and the attack on the house of Fatima are the main events and the shaped the future of Islam, Middle East and they still affect the world. The author compiled all the information in one place and does a good job of listing arguments and counter arguments.Fatima and the attack on her house has become a symbol, some lament it as the most horrific tragedy, others say its a made up event to slander those who ended up with power later.Did a silent coup take place, was the prophet poisoned and not by the Jews of Khaybar? The worst people on the planet, who used to bury their daughters alive, were changed by one man in short span of twenty three years, but then was he killed by those who failed in their plots to kill him again and again, those who were recognized by the likes of Huzaifah ibn Yaman and Abu Zar after they failed in their assassination attempts after fall of Mecca and after the expedition of Tabouk? But did they keep trying untill they succeeded? Those who buried their daughters would have no regrets about killing the daughter of their one time enemy, especially as she stood between them and the power to rule an empire. This book is great, it provides all the references and those wanting to find the true version of events can dig deeper into other books and decide for themselves. Why bother? Why read the salutations of blessings in salah or the ayah of mowadah in Quran? It goes to the very heart of Islam and how one chooses to do everything, because it goes back to fiqh and that matters to all Muslims, every day.Lots of speakers don't talk about this, others don't go into details because of fear of fanatics or from fear of division, but the author defends his book because of denials of the other side make it his duty to highlight the truth. He does a good job of gathering lots of information in one book, it provided lots of new information for me and i have been fascinated by these events and i have done fair bit of research over the years, but there is lots of fear and intimidation surrounding these events, so they have been kept secret by some and denied by others. Maybe it is the temptation of the forbidden fruit or maybe it is a very intriguing subject that fascinates me and others as well but whatever ones religious take on these things, it is a very entertaining and informative read. What shocked me was the sheer numbers that attacked the house of lady Fatima, but I knew how many archers attacked the funeral of imam Hassan a.s, this was even more important and they made sure they had the numbers to defeat Ali, if he fought. The events of Karbala are known by all, the silent killings of Medina are known by a few, this book tries to shed light on what took place. Most traumatic series of events that changed the course of history, what could have been if the prophet and his daughter were not assassinated so silently, if the masses had kept their oaths given at Ghadeer, if those they sent blessings on were not oppressed in Medina, massacred in Karbala or imprisoned in Baghdad or Samerah? The world would be a very different place if the likes Ali ibn Abu Talib were allowed to rule in peace, who even between wars wrote to his governor instructing him to be kind to all people, he wrote that there are two kinds of people in this world Malik, they are either your brothers in faith or your equals in creation, Ali, like his Fatima was killed so those could rule who even their supporters don't dare call rightly guided khalifs. Who is to blame and how we ended up with the mess we see in most of Muslim countries? Read and decide for your self....But enough of the chest beating! It is a very well written book and very well researched as well. Usually one can only find very brief chapters on the life of this out standing lady but the sheer amount of detail makes this a very authoritative book on the subject matter. Not only does it provide lots of details, starting with a chapter on her mother, who is only a name to most followers of any sect.Very lengthy preface, lots of explanation and the book starts after about 50 pages as the author deals with lots of critics of the first edition of the book, he deals with lots of objections in great detail in the preface and details the usual tricks of the trade of those who try to silence anyone who tries to write the truth. If you still haven't got the hint,Go on and buy it, just having so much information in one book makes it worth while, wealth of information for the price of a decent pizza! Maybe buy more than one copy and help the charity that sells it and uses the money to buy books for prisoners in hope of rehabilitation. This is one of a few books published by them, well impressed by their work, there is good work being done. There is still hope....Long and rambling review, if it can be called that but such is the topic and what a book. Read about Ali ibn Abu Talib or his his sons or his Daughter, what a peerless family and so many enemies, hard to believe they were stead fast, generation after generation.... But don't get me started on all that.
