Based on antique knife boxes seen in Monticello’s Dining Room, it’s cleverly designed to hold a 40-piece flatware set, plus serving pieces, in its silvercloth-lined interior. Mahogany-finished wood with inlaid oval on lid. Closed, it measures 12”h x 10 ¼”w x 11 ¼”d.

Definately a family heirloom! The quality and craftsmanship is outstanding. The compartments have independent doors with a groove for your flatware. They basically stand erect and ready to serve.

Way too expensive for a 40 pc holder.
Not a fan of deceptive sellers 1st and foremost. Price is way too much to not guarantee anti tarnish.
