A well made, sturdy and good looking jug. I avoid plastics like the plague, so am always looking for alternatives. I was a bit worried about some of the other reviews saying it rusted, or the handle deteriorated - however although I have only had it for a week or two, I can’t fault it so far. It looks great, pours well, and the taste of the water with the recommended filters is fantastic, much better than my previous filter jug. No rust so far! Love the look of it too. I will report back if any problems occur, but so far, I highly recommend this jug. UPDATE: I’ve now had this jug for 18 months and my family have used it throughout every day since then. There is absolutely no sign of rust, as other reviewers have mentioned, and it looks as good as the day I bought it. Easy to clean, robust, long lasting, looks great, and no plastic. We’re happy!

It’s a beautiful jug, but after having read quite a bit about alkaline water etc etc, and finding that all this involves is some funny bags that sit in the water I’m just not sure it’s quite good enough to make the difference for filtered water. In fact if you are keen to try it, just buy the bags and don’t necc but their special jug, but use one you already have. Advantage of theirs is that it holds the bag of alkalising stuff back when you pour. Downside of the jug is that it’s quite big to keep in major fridges and doesn’t come with a lid that covers the top, so dust, flies etc can end up in the water if you’re leaving it out for a while.

It's a worthy buying. I don't have any device or chemical to check water quality but I can confirm that the Water tastes very soft and way better than general tap water. Very easy to use, excellent design and finishing.

Aesthetically pleasing jug and the filtered water tastes lovely! Makes normal water taste almost bitter.

The good thing about this is that it is beautiful and it holds water. The bad thing about it is it is a faff. You need a screw driver to keep the handle in situ. And not once, it keeps coming loose. Also the water is cloudy. I had much instruction from the supplier but nothing seemed to work. It was clear for a while but now it is permanently cloudy and it has hardly been used. You also need a wooden spoon to hand and something to mop up if you are using it in an office as I was. It is very faffy and very cloudy and disappointing. Becuase I have had it for a while, trying to make it work, on my once a week visit to this particular venue, they wouldn't refund, only replace. But I don't want to have the same problem so will go back to bottled water. Much easier.
