Very easy to get put to use within a few minutes. I've never used one before my trainer showed me how to use hers for humane interruption of aggressive behavior to provide a window to teach a different behavior. Simple to use and very well made.

This collar ( as well as her training) have been the best thing for our german shepherd. When used correctly it is a great tool. I can see that some would use improperly and the thought saddens me. We used in initial training and rarely have to use any longer. We test the charge on ourselves to make sure it's no higher than we wish it to be. I highly recommend it.

Awesome product for training! I've only been using it with my 8mo Pitty puppy for about a week but am already seeing a wonderful improvement in attentiveness to commands and attempts to verbally get his attention in order to issue commands.The ability to adjust the strength of stim per the situation and the option to use tone or vibrations instead offer a range of options depending upon how urgent the need is to re-direct. I basically only need to use the vibration setting at this point.By using this to capture attention, then verbally re-direct, issue command and positively reinforce good behavior after.. its like night and day. I just needed something to break his attention over External stimulus.If your looking for a training aid or just a very well built e collar to re-direct this is the one. It may be more expensive than some others, but the quality and versatility are superb!Only con is that the collar portion will need to be recharged every night, which I guess would be somewhat unavoidable given its small size and therefore small battery.

Good product

We are on our third remote replacement since purchasing this in the fall. The screen freezes and gets stuck on a specific number. I had no idea at first and unfortunately I thought it was at 12 but it was likely much higher and my dog yelped :( it’s been helpful with managing his reactivity but for $200 you’d think they could make a better product. Not sure if we will repurchase when the warranty runs out.

Love this collar. My sister had this collar for her dog and we borrowed it for a couple weeks and decided we just had to have our own. It came packaged well with instructions for use but I feel the manual was hard to follow and apply; I still don’t understand how to fully use all the features of the remote. I searched the manual and tutorial videos the company offers online but I found they were not very helpful for me and it has taken the process of elimination to use. I have a 9 year old, extremely intelligent, headstrong and willful Australian Shepherd. He is an amazing dog with a high level of training but has several very annoying habits that inhibits our family from truly enjoying him. As I said before, he is very intelligent and so he knows all his bad habits and joyfully taunts anyone that cannot control him. This product has removed the bad behavior and he is an angel when wearing it which is why we had to buy our own collar. We have had the collar for about 3 weeks and can see the good behavior becoming habits which we hope will translate into less correction and need for the remote. However, due to his intelligence he will probably always require a training collar. The collar has been extremely effective in bad behavior management and allows his intelligence, training and personality to really shine. I love that we are no longer battling with him in frustration and anger. Any correction that is needed is not perceived by him to be coming from us and he usually responds immediately to tone, or vibration, the shock correction is rarely needed but does come in handy when he gets in a hazardous situation and doesn’t respond to tone/vibration. The different shock correction levels, delays and remote features are where I have the most confusion and further detailed instruction in the manual is needed. Battery life of the collar could be better. With daily wear, minimal correction and the removing of and turning off of the collar every night, the collar requires charging every other day. The remote’s battery lasts much longer, requiring to be charged about every other week. Overall I would give this product five stars if I wasn’t still trying to figure out all its features three weeks later. I do and have highly recommended this product to my friends and family with headstrong and stubborn dogs. My only regret is not getting one sooner.
