1688 Feathered Partridge

Worked great to prop up at the top of my Christmas tree for my “Partridge in a Pear Tree!”

I bought this for my Christmas tree theme, a partridge in a pear tree. It is a bit small in person for the price in my opinion. But it is well made, and looks just like the picture. He's cute on my Christmas tree for sure.

This year, at our new farm, we have a pear tree! So, instead of waiting for a partridge to find it, we got this one and made him a nest! Took the Christmas picture and sent it out! Then we brought him inside so he wouldn’t get damaged by rain and snow. This bird is really a work of art - very happy with this partridge - bound to be a part of our traditions!

Loved them and placing on top of candle sticks with fall and then Christmas foliage.

Not long after getting this, the feathers started falling out. This was sitting on a shelf and one day I noticed that the feathers fell out. I don't know what adhesive was used, but it's dried to a yellowish powder and was collected on the shelf around the bird along with the feathers. At this writing, this is being sold for $42.00. Had I known it was a disposable mock partridge, I would not have purchased it.
