Sheer Miracle SPF 30 Premium Loose Mineral Foundation Makeup 8g (7 Shades Available) (Dark Warm (Deeper caramel skin with neutral to yellow undertones))

I've been using this product for almost 10 years. I always return to this brand and color. I'm African-American and this is the only mineral makeup that works well with the yellow undertones in my skin. People are amazed when I tell them I'm wearing makeup because it looks like my bare skin. I've found it helps to heal acne blemishes.This was the only thing I wore on my face my wedding day and looks like it was professionally done.

I purchased the mineral foundation according to the guidelines of determining which foundation was best for me. The picture of the foundation in the explanation is not what I received. What I received was much lighter than the "Dark Warm" picture. I applied it to my face and I looked 2 shades lighter and the coverage was not good at all. I am not going to return this item as I have already opened it and used it. I will however, not purchase any more foundation from you, because what you see is not always what you get.Have a good day,Linda

This mineral makeup has fabulous coverage and no icky ingredients. I've been using it for so long I can't remember using anything else. I have cool colored skin. So, I buy the light cool and the dark cool and mix the color I need throughout the year. Light cool is okay for winter...then, as I get summer sun I darken it with a bit of the dark cool until I get the right shade. Love it! Also, it's water resistant. The southern humidity and a quick dip in the pool don't wash it off, which is excellent!

Dark warm seems to work really nice on my skin, although it looks a bit yellow. The yellow can be toned down with bronzer, and a little highlight and blush on the cheeks. This product is lightweight, but thick at the same time. It's very hard to explain the texture because I usually forget I have anything on, but the powder goes on full coverage which is amazing.It hides my post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation marks super easily! I don't even know what to else to say about the coverage other than amazing, albeit I feel as though it's a bit on the yellow side. The finish over my sunscreen is almost like a satin-matte as there's a little healthy shine to skin. The powder has iron oxides which has been shown to help with blue light protection, zinc oxide and titanium oxide for UV protection (allegedly), and mica for a shimmery highlighting effect. So why the 4-star rating?I don't believe this product is SPF 30 and I don't believe it's been tested to even make that claim which is dangerous. While you should always wear a dedicated sunscreen underneath your makeup, some people might use this product in lieu of a proper sun protective product and could harm themselves. Having known sun protecting minerals in a product doesn't necessarily make a product have a particular SPF. This product may have a SPF of 9 or it may have an SPF of 50, I don't know, but just be safe and wear proper sun protection.I also removed a star since it's only minerals with no additives to account for the flow or clumping properties of mineral powders. Because of this, the powder can be a little messy and difficult to apply. The powder also seems to be slightly hygroscopic and clumps which affects the way the powder flows making it difficult to be use in portable brush/container dispensers. That was a bummer for me since my goal for this powder was to use it in my Supergoop Invincible Setting powder SPF 45 dispenser instead of paying the $18 + tax + shipping for the refill jar that's only 3.4 grams. I thought I was getting a deal with this, but it just doesn't flow right. Not the product's fault, just didn't work the way I wanted it to. All in all, amazing powder.

Do not go by the colors pictured. Read the description of each shade. I have been looking for an EXCELLENT QUALITY mineral, loose powder foundation for a while. This is THE ONE. It covers psoriasis flareups and uneven skin tone like a dream. It is a very lightweight powder, so use a good brush to apply it and expect a faint dust cloud while applying. I like that, because it gives a much better airbrush quality and doesn't put focus on the makeup so focus is on me instead.

I love the coverage and love the SPF. Living in Florida and having been diagnosed with malignant melanoma, I'm always on the lookout for SPF coverage that doesn't feel heavy on my face. This definitely fits the bill.

Been a customer for years, their medium light neutral leans more on the yellow side, which is perfect for my yellowish skin. Light Cool is too yellow for my daughter's cool complexion. It might look "cool" when compared with warmer shades in this company's line, but not when compared with two other brands in comparable cool shades. Coverage is amazing, but I think this company leans a little heavy on the yellow pigment in their line.

This was not a good color for my complexion at all! I had previously been using (for years as a matter of fact) Sheer Cover, Mocha Foundation - which is a amazing color, but I can no longer seem to find it. Anyway, this new product - Sheer Miracle Dark Warm foundation is not even close to being the right color for me.
