The camouflage skinned casing is strong and the connectors are all protected by snap on covers that appear to be equally strong. I have not tested it’s ability to withstand shock but I don’t think that’s a concern. It is a true 4 in 1 reader which is ingeniously achieved with only 3 connectors in a Y configuration. It has 3 apparent male connectors, USB A, USB C and Lightning. It took me a few minutes to figure out where the fourth connector, the Micro USB is housed. Ingeniously, you flip up the outer part of the regular USB A connector and there lies the Micro USB. Fantastic!On the long edge are 2 slots. 1 each for SD Card and Micro SD Card, all this in a very affordable, lightweight package. This reader easily serves as a home or office reader as well. This ad card adapter is very versatile. I have an android, a friend has an Apple, but we both can use this adapter as it has connections for every possible device! The one I ordered has a cool camo pattern, fits in with my hunting and scouting gear. Operates as intended without flaw. Also great that it has durable covers for the plug adapters, keeping the unit safe as it floats around inside my scout bag. This does what u need out in the field. DO NOT buy a full screen style sd card viewer. We all have smartphones, so view your trail cam pics with it, and this adapter.. the way to go!

This card reader works very well allowing you to check camera cards in the field with whatever device you may be using. I tried on several different devices and it worked well on all of them. The only issue I encountered is the housing prevented me from plugging into my iPhone with an Otterbox on it.

OK so I just got this in the mail today. I have a trail cam that uses SD cards for storing the photos. I was trying to figure out how to read the images and contemplated taking my computer hunting with me, not my preferred solution, but an option. Saw this gadget on Amazon, ordered it, less than 20 bucks. It arrived, I had to download one quick application from the apple store, plugged this puppy in and it read the SD card without error. Now I will be able to see the instant results of the game cams without having to take them back to the computer. Awesome handy device that even lets you delete images and save images to your phones memory. I am definitely looking forward to hunting season.

This is very short and sweet. I don't normally do this but I feel like if I can save even one person from disaster here it will be worth it. This reader will delete your photos. It will take a trail camera SD card with multiple folders worth of pictures and condense it into one folder. All remaining photos will be deleted. After having serious suspicions about how I was missing so many days of photos this season I was patient and I waited until I got home to check the trail cam instead of looking at them in the tree stand like I normally do. When I pulled the photos up on my computer there were over 6000 photos in 7 folders in the past 8 days. I then put the chip from the same camera into THIS PRODUCT and plugged it into my phone. Only one folder was remaining and it was filled with just 2 of the past 8 days worth of photos. I put it back into my computer and everything was gone. The whole process took all over 90 seconds to test. It's going in the trash the second after I hit submit on this review.WILL DELETE YOUR TRAIL CAM PICTURES IF YOU USE IN YOUR PHONE

Wish I could give this a zero star rating. This does not work on my phone, Samsung Galaxy S8, though it is advertised to be plug and play. I have tried standard SD and micro SD cards, and neither work. Do not buy if you have a Galaxy S8.Update: After my initial review, I received an email from the MOSPRO asking if I would like a refund and requesting I change my review. I responded that I didn't feel it was appropriate to change my review, and I have not heard back (and did not receive a refund). I suspect the rating for this product should be lower than it is, but the company is offering money to those who posted negative reviews in exchange for them raising their rating.

This product is awesome. Works great with reading SD cards on your iPhone. I use it to check my SD cards from my trail cameras. It’s easy and works great. Buy this if you have any need to check SD cards in the field.
