More durable than I anticipated!
I have purchased three of these 30” balls for my German Shepherd. She absolutely loves them and it’s her favorite outdoor toy. The first ball I received I didn’t purchase a cover, so it did pop rather fast. My fault, not the product. The second one we got a cover, but the cover was severely oversized. I do believe we were sent the wrong size, but it’s also what made the ball last so long. She went about a year before puncturing a hole in the second one, and I believe it’s because the cover was so loose she could grab onto that instead of trying to go after the ball itself. The third one I purchased the cover did fit perfectly, but she popped that one within ten minutes. The quality of the ball itself is wonderful, and I think I’ll be purchasing another with a larger cover so there’s some slack. If you’re purchasing this for your dog just don’t be surprised if they puncture it! This most recent purchase it seems that they changed the pump to blow up the ball, and I will say that has gone down in quality.

I would not recommend this mega ball to anyone
This ball is definetly NOT "Heavy duty, bite resistant, anti burst, or durable" as the box and instructions both state. I followed EVERY detail of the instructions to the T. From pumping it up with that stupid foot pump (it takes about 25 to 30 mins!) To measuring it with a measuring tape, to ensure it was filled to the size the ball was designed to hold and in turn, make it "Heavy duty, durable" and blah blah blah. In a smooth surfaced sanded paddock, my 8 month old colt managed to puncture his 30 inch " heavy duty and durable" mega ball, IN THREE DAYS! I searched high and low for the perfect ball for him, as he was bored in his paddock alone. What sold me on the horsemens pride mega ball, was all the "Heavy duty" details. This ball is NOT all its cracked up to be and was a waste of $40. So, very disappointed, I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement ball, I then was told I should get a cover (even tho my 8 month old is not shod - as it states in the directions on whether to get a cover or not). This time, it has lasted 2 months so far, but started going flat at about 3 weeks. The cover won't allow it to "pop" or get punctured as the ball itself is nearly out of air. So now it's slowly leaking and eventually will be flat...AGAIN. the cover was over $40 and the ball was over $40. I wouldn't recommend wasting $80+ on this product.

Stands behind their products
I purchased two of these and neither one will stay inflated! Apparently they were defective because the last one I purchased elsewhere stayed inflated till a storm came and moved the ball to an area where it got caught on the fence and had a visible tear. They accepted the return and sent two new ones which are fine. Thank you for standing behind your products.

Great large dog toy!
We have a very large puppy- a doodle. She love to push this around, and get her front feet on it and walk it around the yard! I thought it would be too big, but she loves it! We had one for over 3 years, and it probably would have lasted longer if we put it in the shed every day, but she plays with it every day. So we just got another one. Great product!

A cheap yoga ball would be a better choice for dogs
This product is sold as a ball for horses, but I purchased a 30" ball for my dog. He absolutely loved it! He also has a few "indestructible" balls in the 10 - 14 inch range that he enjoys pushing around with his head and paws, but he would leave those by the wayside to play with this big one. While it's fully inflated, the ball is unbiteable, so despite being made out of relatively flimsy rubber (compared to the hard plastic of the other balls) it was safe for Roscoe to play with. I avoided getting a fabric cover, because I figured he'd be more apt to grab that. Still, it did not seem to take much damage despite being pushed into bare bushes, tree trunks, brick walls, and chain link fences. And there were numerous collisions because Roscoe is a 50 pound pit bull and can't see over the ball while he's pushing it. Fortunately, the ball is soft enough to cushion the impact. I only gave this three stars because despite being too big to be used in all but the biggest of indoor spaces, it is clearly not an outdoor toy. I seems to be a relabeled yoga ball that loses air like crazy when it's not being used. This might not be a terrible thing for horses, but it allowed the ball to become soft enough for Roscoe to grab with his teeth. As you might imagine, that spelled the end for the ball. Its surface is also a mud magnet. Once again, it's for horses, so the intended user is not typically let into the house, but if used in the morning when the grass is dewy, it will quickly be covered in a thin layer of mud that seems to be able to soak into fur and pant legs. It managed to pick up mud where there was no visible mud and transfer it to me and my dog. Playing with it during the afternoon was a great deal less filthy. The included pump is a joke. It was cartoonish how it failed to work: popping its fittings loose one after the other. I eventually dug out my compressor and blowgun.

Didn't even last 5 minutes
Bought for my dogs to pay with in the yard and herd with. They popped out in less than 5 minutes. Complete waste of time and money considering it took a half hour to blow up.

SO FUN!!!
They LOVE it!!!! Make sure to cover it with something or it will be easily popped. We actually tied together a couple of cheap curtains =) In the past we have bought the ball covers but they tear apart at the seams withing minutes and they are almost as much as the ball. Walmart blackout cheap curtains is so much cheaper and durable! Best toy ever!
