Lifesaver for senior dogs
My husky (Connor) turned 15yrs old on March 12. Two weeks before his birthday I thought I was going to lose him. He had both hips removed as a pup. I always knew that would become an issue in his age so I've had him on supplements for years. But that one day he was screaming in pain and trembling. He COULDN'T get up! He tried so hard but his back legs had gone lame. Shaking and crying I called his vet for an emergency appt. It took 3 of us to slide a comforter under him and carry him to the back of my minivan. At the vet's office they came out and took him inside on a stretcher. Given his age and the severity of pain that he was in I was expecting the vet to tell me to let him cross Rainbow Bridge. Thank God that isn't what happened. It turns out it wasn't his hips. His back is loaded with arthritis. He received a cortisone shot and was put on prescription anti inflammatory meds that he would be on for the rest of his life. This medicine can cause liver damage so he would need to be brought in every 3 months for blood work. Don't get me wrong-I'll do anything for my boy. But in his old age he has an extremely hard time getting in my van. Even with a ramp. So I began to research natural options for pain and inflammation management. That's when I tried Zesty Paws Tumeric Curcumin. It was a game changer. He's able to get up off the floor without pain, he can walk further than before and his overall quality of life is greatly improved. His body may be slowing down but this old boy still has a love for life and light in his eyes. He still beams at me and wags his tail whenever he sees his Momma. I'm hoping to get him to his 16th birthday, then 17th. This product is definitely worth trying and thank goodness it tastes good. His previous supplement was a gross tablet (he had to have 3 daily) that he refused to eat so I had to crush it in his food. These I can just hand him as treats and he gobbles them up.

Works wonders for our young St. Bernard!!
I purchased this for our 18 month old St. Bernard who has elbow dysplasia and had very $$$ surgery to repair. She began taking fish oil & Dasuquin daily which helped, but 3 months post surgery she was still limping and we were so discouraged. I put her on these turmeric chews (she takes 3 every morning) and within one month her limping completely subsided! She will be on these for the rest of her life! So grateful we gave these a try! However, she is a super picky pill taker and will not eat these as is. I have to roll them in cheese AND then roll the cheese/turmeric ball in freeze dried chicken liver and then she eats it. They are crumbly and will stain your hands or any light surface. I have a few yellow stains on her dog bed that won’t come out, so I now am sure to feed her these on our dark hardwood floors. Small price to pay for the health benefits!!

Wish I could have found this supplement sooner!
My 9 year old dog was suffering with hip pain that would interfere with movement. Some days she will even crawl out of bed due to stiffness in her joints. On top of that she injured her CCL and I thought she would need surgery. She was on gabapentin daily and Anti inflammatory medication as needed. I came across this and decided to try it. It has worked wonders! Ever since I started my dog on this she has stopped taking gabapentin and other pain meds. Her mobility has improved more and she is able to walk on her injured knee (in addition to a knee brace for support) like nothing ever happened. She likes to take it as any other of her favorite treats. I highly recommend this product!

Has it's pros and cons.
I bought these for my dog who recently was diagnosed with 2 ACL tears in her knees plus hip dysplasia. She did not tolerate the NSAID that were prescribed to help her and 20K was just out of our price range for surgery. Turmeric is supposed to help with inflammation so I thought I would give this a try. The following was my experience: Pros - it really did help with inflammation. I could actually feel the swelling go down in her knees after daily doses after 1 week. - the price is excellent for a quality item that has many ingredients in each chew. Cons - taste must be pretty bad as she will not eat one and I have to wrap it in a piece of cheese to get her to swallow it. - it is messy! It will stain anything that it come into contact with. Fingers, carpet, her fur...anything! Having said that I will continue to use this product as the cons are something I can live with because it really is doing what it promises. The company is very reputable and stand behind their product so if you have an issues, you can contact them and they will respond quickly. For us this has been a very positive and helpful aid to help our girl feel better during her recuperation.

My Corgi boys love Zesty Paws
My Corgi boys consider these treats and get excited about them, so it makes it easy to give them their supplements. My older Corgi (he’s 12.5) started having some sore joint issues a few years ago, so I added the Mobility Bites and then later these Turmeric Curcumin Bites. I think they really help. I already add a little turmeric to their breakfast food that I make for them, and I use turmeric myself and find it helpful. Being in treat form is great. I initially started with the Zesty Paws Cranberry Bites because so many of the Corgis we follow have kidney stones and kidney issues. A little prevention never hurts. When I started looking for other supplements, I went with Zesty Paws because the quality is good and the price is better than some of the others out there. At our house, Zesty Paws starts in the morning with their salmon oil at breakfast and goes to night time with their 8-in-1 bites, with the others in between. When we travel, I pack up the little jars in their bag so they can get them when we travel. They are my favorite for supplements for my doggies.

Amazon's concern for customer's responses
I'm convinced that Zesty Paws Turmeric Curcumin is a premium supplement, but my Goberian, who will eat most anything, will not eat these even though I camouflage in all kinds of goodies. I wish Zesty Paws would make these more palatable! My Goberian will sniff them out and they become a waste.

I can say it will definitely make your dog calm down, I bought this for my German shepherd to help him recover from hip problems. He had 2 a day, when I purchased this product and cbd oil his mood was improved, sleepy calm/relaxed. Before, you could see noticeable pain and uncomfort in his face and he’d be more fidgety.
