Hemway White Iridescent Glitter Paint Additive Microfine 100g / 3.5oz

I usually prefer the premium ultra sparkle formulation but this was on sale at a good price so I thought I would give it a go. This is a very good product. Not a much sparkle power as the premium ultra sparkle (which is cosmetic grade and designed to excel in more transparent/translucent bases). Since this designed as a paint additive and paint is usually more opaque, the way to make this glitter stand out in your application is to buff the finished surface after the paint has dried, which removes the cloudy ultra thin layer of paint from the uppermost glitter flakes and brings the reflective surface of the flakes to a nice shine. No the glitter hasn't flaked off after doing this. Yes it definately makes the glitter stand out better and gives a much more finished glittery look. I used this in paint for some home dec items and not to paint a wall. I just added what I thought would be adequate for the amount of paint I mixed up so I can't give precise measurements. All in all I'm happy with the results. Since I tend to use glitter in higher end creations and more transparent/translucent mediums I personally will continue to purchase the premium glitters (more expensive but worth it!), but will happily purchase this preparation again if my project calls for use in opaque paint- where the look of the premium paint is decreased by the opacity of the medium.

I bought this glitter to add to my wall paint and it was a beautiful edition! The glitter is really bright and as you walk by the walls you can see the sparkle in it. I've gotten so many compliments from all of my girlfriends that have come over. Super functional and easy to use by just adding into the paint, The more sparkly you want, the more you add and it does not affect the texture of the paint! Will be buying more in different colors for sure!

This was so easy to use. I got the lavender microfine and it was beautiful! I eyeballed the amount of glitter completely and i used about half of it to paint a small bookshelf and a desk. It didn’t need to be buffed to show how beautiful and shimmery it was, which I was worried about. I actually mixed it into Beyond Paint, which worried me since that paint is thick like pudding. But the glitter did an amazing job. I was so happy about the finished products that I ended up disappointed that I don’t have any other projects to do. I attached a video, the paint I use is textured but I don’t think the microfine glitter would affect the texture of a smooth paint much at all! (Also excuse the stuff on the bookshelf I was already putting books on it before remembering to take a video.)

This was my first time doing this with paint and I'm pretty happy! If I do it again I might try to find glitter that is just slightly more chunky but it definitely works! I did not need to sandpaper it after it shows up really well.

Quite disappointed. Now I have to somehow fix this mess on my wall. I spent many days putting a faux finish on the wall and used this in the clear sealer to give a fine and light sparkle. Instead, no sparkle at all, just looks like streaky (even though I stirred thoroughly and often) white dust on the wall. Worse, it is rough and doesn’t rub off either. I have no idea how or if I can get this off without ruining days of previous work. Very disappointed.

Tried to mix with the stars in a clear gloss top coat I would not recommend. It probably would be worked out better if I mixed the glitter in the paint buffed then topped with the stars. My daughter is happy with her wall. It did not go evenly and I had to brush the entire wall.

I put this in concrete paint for my floor. All I can say is wow, it actually works! My mind was blown at all the glitter while I was painting. It dried and it’s giving fairy princess vibes. Seriously love it! I recommend mixing a couple different sizes and colors, it is worth the money!

Was going for a subtle black glitter/black paint combo but it doesn’t show at all, not even in the slightest. Very disappointing

Utilisé pour de la résine époxy. Le bleu est marine, beaucoup plus foncé que sur les photos. Il est beau quand même et je vais l'utiliser mais cela n'a vraiment rien à voir avec les photos

In der Beschreibung und auf der Verpackung ist ja eine Farbe angegeben, wir hätten uns für Gold entschieden. Wir haben alles so gemacht, wie beschrieben, aber das Ergebnis ist enttäuschend. Die Wand haben wir weiss gestrichen, dann nach Anleitung die Glitzerfarbe in die Farbe gemacht und dann 2 x gestrichen. Erst haben wir gar nichts von Glitzer gesehen. Im Licht und wenn die Sonne drauf scheint, glitzert es schon, aber die goldene Farbe muss man suchen. Die Wand sieht immer noch weiß aus, nur wie dreckiges weiss. Wir dachten, die Wand wird leicht Golden. Also viel Geld ausgegeben für nicht viel, sehr enttäuschend, leider.
