Doesn't reinvent the wheel but still a great Pop album.
I'm not a huge fan of Namie as I find most of her music too derivative for my taste. This album is no exception to that but what separates this album from her previous ones are the vocal direction, mastering & layering, and just overall confidence she exudes on every track. This album is a fusion of EDM, urban contemporary, and standard pop. Songs like "Alive", "Hands on Me", "Supernatural Love", "Contrail", and "Poison" stand out for their bombastic productions. I feel dance-pop songs suit her more as opposed to her previous R&B/Hip-Hop heavy albums. That being said my main issue with Namie has always been her tendency to constantly hop on the bandwagon in regard to what music styles are trending in the West, in this instance EDM. Songs like "Heaven", a song produced by ZEDD, get lost in the shuffle along with songs like "Rainbow", "La La La", "Big Boys Cry", and "Stardust In My Eyes". The aforementioned songs sound reminiscent of what acts like Katy Perry, Rihanna, Beyonce, Owl City, etc., released a few years prior. Her English pronunciation sounds very amateurish and indiscernible at times but it doesn't take away from how catchy the songs are. While this album may be devoid of novelty, which I find to be case with most of her albums, I appreciate her efforts and enjoyed the album nonetheless. I must say I was impressed with "FEEL" and rank this along with "Checkmate" and "_genic" as the only albums of hers that I enjoy.Overall I rate this album a 7.5/10.***Favorite Tracks: Alive, Poison, Hands on Me, Can You Feel This Love, Contrail, Supernatural Love, Big Boys Cry***Least Favorite: Let Me Let You Go, Heaven, Rainbow

Don't look, Don't listen, Don't speak...just FEEL.
Before I start this review, I should say that I'm not a big fan of Namie Amuro. It's not as though I hate her or anything, it's just that I find tremendous problems when listening to her music. But enough of that now, we'll save that conversation for another day.I was EXTREMELY impressed with this album. I didn't expect her to head in this type of direction with her music! It was so filled with so many unique, yet amazingly catchy tracks that it was practically oozing with perfection! I'm no dance lover, but this album made me a dancing frantic! \(^o^)/The style within this album suited her very well. Each track stood out in their own way while effortlessly delivering a force to be reckon with. I wasn't expecting the album to be this good. I just love the creation she made for herself within these tracks! It literally reflected a concept that made album fun and exciting.Although the album was processed very well, I did notice that Namie's vocals did tend to sound flat once in a while---especially when it came to her rapping parts. I mean, I'm not saying that's a bad thing! It's just...I probably would have enjoyed it a whole lot more if she added some creativity within those parts. But despite that minor flaw, I think I can easily overlook that because of this album's uniqueness & originality. Nearly all of the tracks have intrigued me, but the ones that stood out the most were: "Alive" "Big Boys Cry" "Heaven" "La La La" "Supernatural Love" "Contrail" and finally, "Stardust In My Eyes".Even though I'm not a big fan of hers, I still thought that this was an excellent album that thrived with a sense of purpose. The melodies themselves were so infectious that I could literally feel the beat transcending throughout my entire body. Very impressive, I might add. This album is in no way a disappointment. Each song is an absolute treasure. (◠ ‿ ◠)

Beatific Singing Voice
Feel by Namie Amuro contains some innovative and appealing songs such as Heaven, Hands On Me, and Big Boys Cry. The best way I can describe those three songs are a futuristic dance feel. Additionally, the video for Hands On Me features a cameo by T-Boz Watkins and Rozonda Chili Thomas from the music group TLC. The video for Big Boys Cry has some teddy bears along with dancers

Lost in the Shuffle
I've always been a big fan of Namie Amuro. I have every single CD album that she has issued. I always liked the fact that Namie's music had an original distinctive style, different than a lot of the pop songs you hear today on the radio in the USA. This album (for me) seems to get lost in the shuffle. It's not that the songs are bad, in fact they are pleasant to listen to. However, (in my opinion) these songs are in the same genre as Miley Cyrus, Kate Perry, Rihanna, Demi Lovato, etc. That's not a bad thing.(In fact I happen to like the music of some of these performers.) But, if I want to hear Rihanna or Demi, then I go and buy one of THEIR CDs.In fairness, I think there are people who WILL enjoy listening to the music on this CD. The songs have a very positive commercial vibe and sound just like the types of songs you hear on current Top 40 radio. Perhaps Namie wanted to make a "hit" album that would propel her to stardom in countries where she is unknown at this time. I can't blame her for wanting to do that. However,(in my opinion) there are SO MANY SONGS that sound just like the tunes on this CD. As a result (I feel) this album gets lost in the shuffle. Hundreds (maybe thousands) of albums get released each week all over the world. Therefore a performer needs to do something that will have their music STAND OUT from all the rest of the releases. This album (although very listenable) does not "stand out" (in my opinion). It hides behind Miley, Rihanna, and all the other artists who have already perfected this style of music. But the album is "OK" and the songs ARE PLEASANT to hear. Just keep in mind there is a chance you MAY end up feeling you've heard these songs before as they sound (in my opinion) very much like many of the songs you hear on the radio today.
