Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque, 8 Fluid Ounce

I have been a huge fan and longtime user of this macadamia deep repair mask. I starting using when I died my hair blonde, and I mean BLONDE, from dark brown and needed some serious nourishment to keep my hair looking and feeling like a scarecrow's straw hair. I've gone back to brunette but still use this product as part of my daily beauty routine. I skip the conditioner and just use this instead. It immediately makes my hair feel like silk detangling my curly mess in the shower and nourishing my curls to be healthier and frizz free with every strand. It's scent is just as amazing as it's nourishing power. It creates and invigorating feel when used and but is not over powering once it's rinsed out. It's not a very feminine scent so it can easily be used by people of any gender. No nauseating floral scents here. The brand has an accompanying hair oil that I also use instead of hair gel & mouse for casual days. Also a seriously super nourishing product (keeps my hair super sleek for longer when it's straight and extra moisturized with healthy curls when I'm just jumping out of bed). But I should warn that the hair oil has a scent that is a bit more masculine (think light, yummy, manly cologne). All in all, the deep repair mask is reliable and luxurious and I trust the entire product line to surpass expectations. If you have damaged hair, thin and straight to thick and curly, look no further! I don't write many detailed reviews, so this proves my love for this product and this brand.

I have platinum blonde hair that is naturally 2c curly/wavy. It was like straw and not curling very well before using this product due to a new hair dresser leaving bleach on too long and frying it. I've worked in hair salons so I knew I would just need to get a more expensive professional deep conditioner. I've tried numerous deep conditioners and wasn't getting the results I was looking for. I asked an old co-worker who's clients always had the nicest hair leaving the salon what she uses, surprisingly she said she uses this one. So I knew I had to give it a try. It's reasonable in price when comparing to professional products and I read tons of great reviews. So I was very excited to try it. After one use...Omg!!! It's the holy grail for hair! My hair was like silk and way more manageable. My hair hasnt felt this soft since I had virgin hair. It smells soooo good! I could see repair after one use. I love how the softness lasted until my next wash. Everyone has been commenting on how great my hair looks and how soft it is. My bf won't stop touching and smelling my hair, even he is obsessed with how it makes my hair feel and smell. My hair only gets better with each use. I'm no where near being done with the first tub but I'm already going to order another if not two of these just so that I always have it on hand and never run out! If your not sure about buying, do yourself a favor and just buy it! It's worth every penny and then some!

I had recently gotten my hair chemically straightened with the Japanese Hair Straightening system and I loved it but it left the ends of my hair dry and straw like. I already have medium-fine hair even though it's very dense, porous, and long, and I have 3b type curls (tight ringlets) so I already have naturally dry hair (I also dye my hair) but this left my ends even worse. I tried oils but I needed something that would restore my hair completely without weighing my hair down or making my roots even oiler. I bought this after hearing raves and decided I might as well give it a go. It was a lot cheaper here than on the Macadamia Hair website so I decided to give it a try and it was probably the best decision I have ever made! I absolutely love this! It smells amazing and the texture is nice and thick. By the fourth use my hair was completely restored and I only use a little bit, maybe a dime size amount through my ends. You should leave it in for at least 7-10 minutes but I usually do it at night then wash it in the morning (and put my hair in a bun for the day) or I put it in during the morning or mid-afternoon and wash it off that night so that it can penetrate my hair best and give me maximum results. I can totally justify the price, it's totally worth it. Now I only use it about once every 2 or 3 weeks, now that my hair is back to normal so I rarely use much at all. I use this in conjunction with the Healing Oil Spray, even though I like the repair mask better. I might try the actual healing oil after I finish the healing oil spray to see if the thicker oil might work better. Regardless, I absolutely love this product, it completely saved my hair!!!

The tub is really pretty. In fact, to me, it looks like a coconut (Forget the green part of it ). Brown on the outside and creamy white inside. The smell is literally HEAVENLY. Like you guys won't believe how rich, luxurious and amazing the smell is. The tub comes with directions and it says there that this is an intense repairing mask and thus should not be used more than twice a week. I totally agree with that. You should never overwhelm your hair with products, however amazing they are. I used it twice in the first week that I received it. Then on, I used it once every week. While applying it, at that time itself, hair feels super-duper soft. The directions on the tub says to apply it liberally onto wet hair. The very first time, I shampooed my hair and then applied it. I found my hair to be really dry after it completely air-dried. The second time though, I applied it to wet hair without shampooing and found that my hair had a really soft texture and was easily manageable. So that's how I have been using it since. The directions say to apply it for 7 minutes. I have timed myself every single time and never exceeded that time limit. However, I did find someone saying that they applied it for 20 minutes and then her hair was much more softer than a 7 minutes application. But well, I am happy with 7 minutes. I apply it only to the lower half of my hair (from the level of my ear and down). I believe that conditioners should not be applied to the scalp, because it's totally unnecessary. The new hair at the scalp is already nourished by the oils produced by our skin and does not require an external conditioning treatment. I would definitely purchase this again. I highly recommend this product to all. It does what it promises and that according to me, is a great deal!. It will be after quite a while though, because this tub is going to last me a LONG time.

I just want to let everyone know that the product I received was fake! So, if you want the real deal, you might as well go to Target and get it for just a few more dollars! I know I will only be purchasing from Target, HOWEVER, my experience with the one from Amazon was still wonderful! After one use, it honestly made my hair look better than it had ever looked. It was so soft and flowy, I couldnt believe it. I was so amazed at it and told myself I would always use this hair mask. Before purchasing the product from Amazon, I actually didnt read the reviews because I had already heard so many great things about it so as soon as I saw the price, I got it! Not too later after using the product for the first time, I decided to read the reviews and saw people were saying it was fake. Then, I looked up images of the real macadamia mask and saw that it was a lot more thicker than the one I had received. It looked like butter and had a more whitish yellow color, whereas mine was dark. So, the product I received was fake, but I still loved how it worked! I told myself "just imagine what the real product would work like since this one works great as well" so I now will be trying the real product from Target.

I have been using this for 20 years. I have highlighted blonde hair and it keeps it shiny and healthy. Best kept secret.

In my journey from permed to natural hair I have become what is know as a product junkie. I tried various brands of "curl definers", "custards", "butters" and the like. I have narrowed my preferences down to a few products that work for me. So why did I try this product? Because deep down I am still searching for something that can make my thin 4b/c hair less prone to knots and damage. So when I opened my jar of Macadmia Oil Deep Repair Mask I wasn't expecting miracles or the holy grail of manageable natural hair just something to add to my arsenal. I am pleasantly surprised. After the first use of this product the tangles magically fell down and my hair became both soft and easily detangled in the shower. But the difference being with this mask, I was able to still see the difference on the second and third and fourth day. I initially did a "wash and go" easy, breezy, peasy. Dried lovely and I had that longed for "hang" finally. After the third day with a satin bonnet to protect at night, I did two strand twists. Just took them down and love, peace and hair grease, no tangles!! I have no frizz and after spraying some Oyin Handmade Juices and Berries on my hair I still have well defined curls. Bravo I say, I will be adding this most definitely to my arsenal of hair care. I used this product two weeks in a row for the recommended 7 minutes and have gotten consistent results. I have ordered the Macadamia Oil Luxe kit and will try the rest of the line, and I also ordered the larger 16 oz. jar. I didn't use alot and I expect this jar and the 16 oz. jar to hold up until January 2014. I'll write an update. Remember anything that truly works for you is worth the money and I used my Discover card promo and actually got the 16 oz. jar $10.69!! Love it when a plan comes together.
