I have a ~25-year-old garage door opener, and it's getting hard to find replacement remote. Yes, the manufacturer has them for around $30 - which is ridiculous for a bit of plastic with a tiny IC board in it. Then I found the subject of this review: purple learning button on garage door opener - check. This opens those - check. Received product, tried out their (very simple) instructions -- it works! Tried the second one - nope. Oh, maybe has different code. Tried pairing again - it works. Tried first one again to make they BOTH work - yes, both work just fine. Very easy process, and now I have $20 in my pocket I wouldn't have if I'd bought Chamberlain. To be fair, the old Chamberlain one lasted ten years, just wouldn't work in cold(but did when warm) after I changed the battery. Life's too short when one is retired:-)

Followed the directions with the product to sync it to my garage unit. It did not work. YouTubed how to do it and followed the man with the minute and a half long video’s directions and it synced perfectly. The directions they come with are wrong but otherwise they work perfectly fine!

This two pack of remotes were an awesome replacement for the broken remote for our Craftsman garage door opener. In the stores and online, it was over $30 for just a single unit. Multi-function units were the same price but required a longer time to program and was still for a single unit.These showed up the same day I ordered, took longer to setup the ladder than to program.**Make sure you pay attention to learn button color on your opener. There are a few different colors that represent different radio frequencies. Order the opener for the color of the learn button on your opener.

Product came on time (2 days), in decent packaging, & ready to go (batteries included). Took me less than 30 seconds to program both remotes to the gate at my small townhome community. As you can see, it has a red button but the gate's website listed 371LM as a compatible clicker with the gate's frequency. I will definitely be buying again for my slightly older, less technologically inclined neighbors as rolling the window down to access the gate's keypad is old news!

About 6 years ago my son installed a new garage door opener for me. The remote was always a bit touchy, but lately it has gotten worse. I wanted to replace it, but the remotes I was seeing in the stores were multi-functional and therefore, expensive. I wanted just a very basic one-button unit and I was ecstatic when I found this two-pack for a very reasonable price (about 1/2 of what a single remote goes for in the stores). It literally took just seconds to get them programmed and operational. So far, they seem to work great! I'm very pleased with this purchase.

So easy to program. Press the purple learning button on the back of the garage door opener, within 30 seconds hold down the bar/button on the generic remote, and wait for your light bulb to flash. I programmed both remotes within a 1 minute time period. The CR2032 flat battery is already installed.

The remotes worked for our Liftmaster garage door opener. The button on the inside was PURPLE, so I was very careful to make sure that I ordered the correct remotes.The information was spelled out very well on Amazon about the purple button matching the remotes along with how to activate the openers.My husband and I are very happy to have our garage door openers working perfectly!It's going to make getting into and out of the garage a whole lot easier especially once it snows.

I was so confused about which garage door opener to get at first. My Button was purple but very faded so i did not know if it was pink or red before. I went ahead and took the chance. Set up was literally less than a minute. Very easy!! Also the range is pretty good. I can hit my clicker two blocks away and its opening up! Great product.
