Using twice a week to drain tanks for the last six months. It has worked flawlessly.
I’m living in my RV for 2 to 3 years while a house will be built on this property. I wanted something as reliable as possible as a sewer connection is 70 feet away and about a 3 foot rise. I pump my tanks twice weekly for the last 6 months and this thing hasn’t missed a beat. Being that I can’t be without it I bought a second one that is stored away just in case I do have a failure. I would simply swap them out and repair the faulty one if I can. So far the first one has worked flawlessly with the exception of a switch that’s in line to the pump as it being a little touchy to make it contact sometimes. As you can see in the photo I made semi permanent connections to the septic sewer line.

It works
This thing isn’t cheap but it’s built real well. Metal housing with a very stout connection housing for the rv side. So metal for the motor some sort of composite for the flange/grinder housing. I use my pooper all the time (full timer) and this thing didn’t bat an eye when it came time to pump. At first glance the metal blender/chopper doesn’t look all that amazing or standout. It was a beast nothing phased it and I use the GOOD toilet paper. It came with a top quality 1” to standard hose adapter for the out spout but I wanted all of the 1” out flow. so I got some 1” black tubing from a local hardware store. I couldn’t imagine how long it would have taken for a small garden hose to pass all that mess. Flow with the 1” was like a fire hose powerful yet easily managed. Clean up was very easy just drained the grey after and disconnect. Not a drop of brown. I’ve been postponing this purchase a loooong time. So glad I finally broke my piggy bank open. Down side is I don’t have a 12v power plug in my “well house” so I wish it came with gator clamps instead of the 12v cigarette plug so I could just hook to a battery. I cut the 12v plug off and wired to a stand alone battery I have. It came mounted to a permanent stile plate with isolator bushings but that isn’t really what’s its use will be. Maybe some have a setup where it can be mounted all the time so no unhooking and rehooking which would be nice but not mine so I just wrapped it up and put it with the rest of the slinky stuff.

Works
I tested this hooked up to my Travel Trailer and ran a hose to my truck and filled the portable tank in my truck. It worked. Truck was parked up by trailer hitch to simulate real world distance. I purchased an AC/DC adapter to plug into a regular AC outlet. I made sure it had the AMPS to run this, it did not work. I ended up buying an adapter that hooked onto the camper battery and then and extension to to have a long enough run to the Macerator and that worked. I couldn't find an extension long enough to go from my truck to the Macerator and did not want multiple extensions.

A real labor saver!
We are 2 ladies in our 60's that like to go camping. We have an older but really good RV but unlike the newer models it sits lower to the ground which can make gravity draining of the waste tanks problematic depending on location. This pump does what it says! While the pump connection would not fit directly onto our waste outlet, we were able to modify a short connection piece (using a Dremel) and got a leak proof seal!We love it!

Something not quite right here.
The pump worked great the first few times. Then the plug started getting hot and blew the fuse in my truck. The plug also melted and the spring that holds the plug fuse tight melted. Something is wrong.

Love this macerator pump
This is a strong and well made unit. It took a while to get the hose part done to my satisfaction since nobody really makes a 1 inch hose, I found one but it was ridiculously expensive. I went with a 1 inch flat hose that I found here on Amazon, link below.Make sure you're using grey water only to fully test this out because once you pull the handle on the black you're kind of committed. I was extra cautious and didn't run this until there were zero leaks. I had to put plumbers tape over the hose where it connects to the macerator so the hose clamp worked better to stop that last little drip I was getting. I did what I did with the hose because I really only wanted one solid hose from the pump to the dump end. We get really bad sun here in CA so I wanted to not open me up to leaks down the road. The other part that was difficult was power, I could have wired into the battery but I didn't want to get into all that. I ended up using my generator to power the unit since the AC 110V to 12V adapter wasn't powerful enough. I'll look to get a better one later.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E7TWT0E/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Best macerator on the market.
We have had 3 flojet macerators in 5 years. They were slow and failed. This is faster and easier than any product we have used. It is totally portable. You just plug it in to your receptical in your car or trailer and off you go. Fabulous product. I highly recommend it

You can pump sewer further than you might think.
I was concerned as I was 230 feet from access to sewer. I didn’t even try to use a garden hose and opted to use 1 1/4” thin wall PVC, 10’ sections made into 20’ screw together sections. You could do 10’ if you need to relocate. About 1/3 distance from trailer I installed a connection for water hose in case I needed a boost. Wasn’t needed as system worked flawlessly with no problems.Just posting so if any it you have a similar distance situation
