I love this setting spray. My only complaint is that the travel size has a better spray nozzle, so I keep refilling that instead of using the nozzle on the full size. The travel size gives more of a mist which protects my makeup better and helps it last longer, while the original spray bottle gives too large of spray that doesn’t evenly coat my face. Love that this is affordable and I don’t mind using my other bottle.

This product is amazing! I have a tendency to touch my face often. Then, when I touched anything my makeup would come on onto whatever I touched. It was frustrating. I did some research and this product was mentioned. I decided to give it a try. It is fantastic. No more smudging papers and clothing. I works quite well.

It’s a very lightweight setting spray. My makeup did stay in place, so longevity is not a problem. I followed the ‘X’ and the + pattern and it covered my whole face! The appearance after drying was seamless and the texture of the spray itself is nice. The only con is the nozzle. The sprays are inconsistent so you never know how much you’re spraying.

I'm not really a makeup girly, so I don't have a lot of setting sprays to compare this to, but I was genuinely impressed. I used it for my engagement party, and my makeup stayed in place through hours of photos, celebrating, and plenty of dancing. Everything still looked fresh by the end of the night, and I didn't feel like I needed constant touch-ups. For the price, the hold was excellent, and I'd definitely use it again for special occasions.

I wanted something that would keep my makeup looking natural instead of overly done, and this does exactly that. A few sprays help everything stay in place without feeling sticky or heavy. My makeup lasts much longer throughout the day, and my skin still looks like skin instead of looking overly powdered. For the price, this is an amazing finishing step.

I have combination skin, super oily but can also get dry when I use retinol (but ALWAYS) oily, textured, large pores, acne scarring, acne prone, sensitive skin. My skin get oily within an hour of makeup application so I always buy setting spray in the hopes that it will help. I bought the NYX Matte Setting Spray to see if it would help and this is my honest review. It is a fair price, sprays pretty evenly (occasionally get big globs that spray out but it mostly mists fine), it's odorless, doesn't make my sensitive skin react, doesn't flare up my acne, dries quickly and completely, doesn't leave any noticeable residue behind and feels light on my skin. Did this work for me? No. I didn't notice a difference. There is only ONE setting spray that I have ever used that has shown me results (Charlotte Tilbury). This was just snake oil. My face wasn't any more matte using this and my oily skin still made my makeup cake/smear. I still used the whole bottle clinging to the hope that it was doing something but honestly, I don't think this was it for me. If you have truly oily skin like me, I wouldn't recommend this setting spray for noticeable results.. I'm giving it 3 stars because it didn't cause any problems with my skin, but it also didn't set my makeup or mattify my skin. Hope this helps!

I use it everyday even if I only have lotion or sunscreen on. It works even better for makeup. It lasts all day even in the Florida heat

Love this setting spray, nicely fragranced and light, and sets evenly and gives a good matte coverage. My new go to as good staying power that lasts all day It dries quickly and is of a soft texture on the skin. Compared to others this is excellent value for money and a far better product than more expensive brands
