An Appreciated Holiday Gift
This was purchased as a Christmas gift for our son. He lives in California. I received a notice from the seller that the sweeper was not available in black (shipping/supply issues) but there was a brand new one available in a Champagne gold color; our son replied “a sweeper is a sweeper” so that’s what he received. He’s said it works well, good suction power and no complaints. It’s doing the job needed.

Buy a different brand name vacuum.
I purchased a Shark Navigator DLX upright vacuum cleaner approx. 4 Years ago. In attempting to find the correct brush belt for the product, I found it impossible. After calling the manufacturer, it became apparent they do not keep the part in stock and could not locate the correct part number. Apparently they do not expect to maintain parts for a reasonable length of time.Without the correct part number, locating the belt through many searches was impossible. Amazon has quite a few belts advertised on the site, but none seem to be specific to my model number vacuum.

Wow
When I learned my husband had ordered this and how it was only $100, I thought Well looks like I’m buying a vacuum when I get paid. I’ve never been so glad to be wrong? This is a GREAT vacuum! It has amazing suction and is super light. We have a young dog wreaking havoc. We give her stuffed animals so she won’t destroy the furniture. Our last vacuum couldn’t clean up the fuzz but this does. And the amount of dirt it gets out of the carpet is so awesome.

It Floats!
Pros:I don't have stairs so I saved a bundle buying this model. I didn't need/want the canister feature on the other model. It has a VERY long attachment hose and feels almost like you are floating it along when you push the vacuum. Kind of like when I rode in my dad's Lexus. The swivel makes it great for getting around dining room chairs and the width is small enough to get into tighter spaces like between my nightstand and the wall. I am finding I like this better than a wider one.Cons:I would love to see a retractable cord. It DOES tip over VERY easily so watch for that. I have yet to find the perfect vacuum but this is a huge step up from my Eureka Boss I bought 10 years ago.

Too light weight and core issues
I like the ease of using this on the floor, thats about it. The cord location and cord itself are horrible. First is the location, middle of the back and gets in the way. Second is the cord, it gets all knotted up and make me want to throw the thing away. Always go for a retractable cord in the future. The attachments a lacking and the final thing is it is too light weight. When i and using the extension i have to hold onto the vacuum cleaner because it pulls it over. Its just too light and it again makes me want to get rid of it. My next one will not be a shark. If it is they need to have one that will work and not make me hate using it every time.

NOT WHAT I EXPECTED
I researched vacuum cleaners for well over a year to educate myself and know what I wanted. Time & again it was the Shark that came out on top with regard to customer satisfaction. Some of the items I wanted to know ahead of time were ease of use, weight, and cord length. Well right off the bat I was EXTREMELY upset to learn there is no light on the floor.....and YES it says there is! Secondly, the cord length is too short, but worse than its length is its location. It's in the middle on the back, way down low near the wheels, so that it is absolutely necessary you hold it in your hand along with the handle in order to vacuum. Otherwise it's dragging and when in reverse would drag over the cord......So, bad design there...REALLY bad design. Lastly I compared the Navigator with the Rotator and leaned toward the Navigator due to the fact the Rotator was touted as being sooooo heavy. Well, it it's heavier than this Navigator, then it would be close to impossible for someone my size to use it. I'm not weak, but I'm also not that strong that pushing this thing isn't a real chore when it's in the brush-roll mode, and this is the lighter of the 2 Shark lines. Unfortunately, the model I just received came WITHOUT the features that are stated in its description (REAL BUMMER since I got this model based on them) plus it's heavy and has way too short a cord. All in all, it does have good suction - but then again so do a lot of other less expensive models. Maybe other Sharks are worth it, but this model NOT. I would like to state emphatically, though, that the company who sold this to me was amazing and SUPER customer-friendly and very accommodating.
