Gizmo Dorks 1.75mm PLA 3D Printer Filament 1kg Sparkle Glitter Blue

Prints perfectly. Strong. Not brittle. Layer lines are hidden. Sort of muted and calm colors that look classy, and/or expensive. It's good for any kind of print and doesn't string. It bridges well and works great for print in place stuff like the snake lures. The pics are of both the blue and gray glitter on this listing. Some tips though- it absorbs humidity really fast. I can't print a single spool for more than around 3 days before having to dry it. How I know is that after the third night, it will snap off at the extruder. I also don't print this with the fan on at all. Another tip is to use nozzle cleaning filament after every print with this - especially if you are using a .4 nozzle or it will clog. I wouldn't print on a smaller nozzle. .5 is better. I print this at 205 with a 60C bed in open enclosure and no fan. I'm using a direct drive bondtech+mosquito setup with a vanadium nozzle and a pei spring steel bed surface.

This is my go-to baseline "it has to work" PLA. Prints are strong and detailed, the glitter is subtle but makes it more than just gray. It just works and well, I'm going to get another roll as I'm almost out of the first already.

This prints nice, great adhesion to build plate and layers but doesn't have that much glitter in it.

Popped this on my printer with expectation of needing to dial settings in a bit... boy was I wrong. It went down and stayed down with the bed on or off and didn't lift with my default test profile for PLA. I mostly print on rafts as I have a warped bed but raft, brim or skirt didn't matter it still stays on the bed. I had little to no stinging and a very good surface finish. My only complaint is that I cant get more as its out of stock for now as of 6/25/20.

With a name like "Gizmo Dorks" it was hard not to be hopeful. I purchased the glitter blue PLA for a few Christmas related items. After about 24 hours left in the air it became very britle and broke off in my machines multiple times. I tried it at first on a bambu A1 using tha AMS system after a few issues with the filament snapping i thought maybe on my A5M (flashforge) would be easier since the filament doesn't have to travel through as many angles as it would in the AMS. Still no luck. Which rendered this filament completely useless in no time. I run 3d printing business all my filament is stored to the proper humidity and temperature.
