Works like I hoped and easy to install.
I needed this device in order for all my Corsair products to be picked up for monitoring, etc. This did the trick and was easy to install. The cords are a good length. I was able to run this from the back panel of my case, down to the PSU on the bottom of the rig, and the port on the bottom front of the board.

This is what you need
Tried the cable splitter, it didn't work. If your motherboard is limited in usb ports, this is what you need. Easy to install, inexpensive and works. Recommend.

Easy install
Needs to be just a little longer. I had issues plugging in things next to this splitter. It would have been nice if the splitter was just a little longer to allow more room for cables. That may have been an issue with my motherboard.

Perfectly shaped to fit in the case. Works as it should be for my pcie wifi/bluetooth adapter and RGB board.

Don't buy it if you want to control lighting with a pc
3 inputs do not work, only one works, and it is not possible to synchronize it with the icue program dedicated to Corsair (the water cooler does not appear, and I cannot control the lighting at the speed of the fans, etc...)

Works perfectly... but take some precautions
Works very well and has no issues with multiple peripherals (keyboard, mouse, USB flash drive) being plugged in and detected and used at the same time. My situation was to provide an extra USB header so that my case could use 2 pairs of USB ports on the front panel (4 total ports). Each pair had a dedicated 9-pin female USB connector to plug into the motherboard, running from wiring at the top of the case where the ports are.The only thing I would suggest is to wrap the splitter and whatever you connect to it in electric tape to protect it and to secure the connections to the adapter. There is nothing to prevent the female plug from slipping off the gold 9-pin headers on the adapter. More importantly, there is exposed circuitry on this adapter which could short out if it touches any metal inside the PC. The other thing to note is that this is quite tall, and if you use any large video cards in a lower PCIe slot, it may not have clearance to fully seat the video card.

works - but conditionally
Bought this for an optiplex desktop to add wifi/bluetooth.Had to mount it on the front port and then plug in the front and the extension board.the wifi works, but the front ports won't get recognised correctly at boot.except for the boot issue, rest is good - not an issue with this item, but quirk of the bios.good for my purpose and recommended if you are looking to quickly extend with a port available on motherboard

Funziona senza driver
Ho installato questa scheda sul connettore usb2 della MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK per poter utilizzare le prese frontali usb2 del case. Funzionano benissimo e non necessitano di driver.
