I have salt and pepper shakers and three tier server. Love them all. Even mychusband likes. Have matching tableclothes which i use all summer. You do need a towel or cozy or prewarming of teapot if you want it to stay warm long. I use a matching teatowel, warm with tap water, and treat myself to a meditative time out! **Q: I can see from the user pix that there's an eastern bluebird, but confused about the bird in the above picture - isn't that a red-breasted nuthatch?** A: It does show a red-breasted nuthatch. I am trying to find the set that includes it as most show the pic you are referring to but then don’t list it as a bird included in the set. On another site they use this pic and then show and reference 4 different birds in the description. **Q: Why is the quality of the mug so bad? I have received one with small blisters all over the external surface.** A: Check with the manufacturer. We didn't have that problem. **Q: What is the diameter of the salad plates? They came well packaged, and are absolutely lovely!! I would heartily recommend these. The birds are beautifully matched with a floral design on the opposite side, and they make my coffee get-togethers a delight. They are light, but durable, dishwasher and microwave safe, and hold a generous amount of coffee, which because of their tall shape stays warm long enough to enjoy it! It says dishwasher safe and microwave ok. However I have not tried that as I don't want my husband mixing up the cups that are not with those that are. Pretty dishes are hand washed in my house for that reason. The colors are clear and just the right density to be seen easily. These are actually coffee mug size so I use them for both coffee and tea.
