The main part of back pack made it through the school year. The bottle holder fell apart and zippers came off, but we dealt with that.

The colors look beautiful together. Also great quality.

I bought this backpack for my 2nd grader. He does not carry much in it but after just 3 months of use the main zip broke rendering it unusable. Very disappointing. His cheaper backpacks lasted much better than this one.Update - I contacted the seller who immediately sent out a replacement backpack - hopefully this one will last better. The customer service was prompt and good.

I looked all over for a large enough backpack for a 5th grader that can fit a large 3 ring binder and some small work books and lunch bag. Surprisingly many are too small and I did a lot of research to make sure I got one that would be large enough, this one (size large) fits perfectly. It has several pockets/zippers which is great for organizing and side pockets for water bottles. So far so good with the quality, but in terms of size and colors this was a great find. I would definitely recommend! I think this would work for older kids or travel as well. If you need a large size backpack that won't break the bank, look no further.

Update: We are beginning a new school year and the backpack is still in great condition! Very happy with the durability of the backpack... really no complaints! Updating my review from 4 to 5 stars.Original review:Seems like a good backpack - it was just the look my Daughter wanted and is a good size for holding the books she brings home and what-not. I am not usually one to spend $50 (my only complaint so far) on a very wearable item, like this, for an 8 year old but I bit the bullet. I hope it holds up. It seems like good quality and so far so good (about 2 months into the school year).

Very large backpack! That is why I bought it. My son carries a lot. But the zipper on the outside front pouch broke so that part has been open most of the year. I didn't need to put anything in there so we continued to use it. I bought it in Oct and it lasted the rest of the year. Now I am contemplating buying another one since the size is large but the zipper broke so I may go with another brand.

Daughter used it for less than 2 weeks & the zipper broke, since I'm always buying early so I'm not in a rush I wasn't able to return it anymore.

I got this for our middle school boy.. he didn’t say much about it. I got a different one his first year of high school. He needed a new one and when I asked what type he wanted, he asked for one like this from middle school! I was happy to see it still being sold on here so I bought him one for his sophomore year. The one he had before lasted 2 years pretty well. The backpack he had last year only lasted a year. So I think this one is made well and lasts. I would recommend!

This bag is simply brilliant. After buying expensive branded bags we were fed up at spending somuch on bags that almost fell apart. With a school that doesnt house lockers , students must bring everything with them and carry it with them all day Heavy books and bags get thrown on floors and piled up on other students bags. This bag is big enough to pack books , a P.E kit and a packed lunch . I would recommend this bag to anyone!. Spacious a.d well made with padded straps and reflective strips for dark days. Fab and worth every penny and donated money to good causes, fab.

Arrived quickly and looks very good. However after a few weeks of use for school the straps both broke (the plastic bits that the straps attach to the bag with) one after the other. Still managing to use the bag by tying the straps to the material on the bag, but this is not ideal. I am too lazy to send it back so we will carry on like this. But be wary if using this for regular heavy carrying

My daughter is 8 years old and she loves this backpack so much. With all the bright different colors on the school bag it gives this backpack a really great look. It is highly durable, light weight, sturdy, extremely functional and has two side pockets as well as one major compartment and two more smaller ones at the front of the bag.Highly recommend this school bag to any parent who is looking for a high quality school bag that will go far for your money.
