Great product! One of my favorite purchases.
Bought 4 of these 3 years ago and they all still work great! They’re used daily and needs a charge once in 2-3 months. I just bought a 5th and synced it to the same remote seemlessly with install in 10 minutes. Overall extremely happy with this purchase! Will definitely purchase again. Great value for money, good fit and durability. Ease of use and noise level is acceptable.

Easy But Instructionless!
I read all the reviews. I watched YouTube videos. Finally took down the blind and measured the interior (both minimum and maximum measures). Sent the measurements to [email protected]. They were quick to respond (24 hours) and directed me to the correct product. Ordered and received it, and when installing the wheel came disconnected from the motor. Quickly replaced from Amazon and the seller. So on to installation. The blind is a 2007 Hunter Douglas roller blind on a cassette. So…. no, and I repeat, no instructions. The sheet provided is to program and/or reprogram the remote and motor. These instructions are good. But if you look at your blinds and the parts sent, you can figure it out. It was actually pretty easy. The hardest part is making sure the USB plug stays in a position to plug in when it’s time to charge. Some have mentioned noise when operating the blind. Yes, there is some noise. We also have Levolor motorized blinds in the next room. This motor is very slightly louder then our Levolor blinds. Really not an issue.Overall a good product, only missing written instructions.Update 09/08/21. Installed six more in nearly identical blinds. Seriously, easy-peasy! You have to plan ahead as far as where the motor antenna is going to be (in front or behind the blind). Also, the machine screws holding the plate over the roller (a Hunter Douglas item, not Rollerhouse) we’re seriously a pain.Using the Bond Bridge, they are all connected to Alexa and the Bond app allows us schedule them as well. Up in the morning, down at night, and down when the afternoon sun hits!

Pretty awesome!
I wanted to put 2 shades up so I can drink my coffee in the morning without getting blasted by the sun... I shopped and shopped for automatic shades but when you are looking at 8 feet long each, you are talking hundreds of dollars, if not a grand. Then I found 99 dollar 8 foot long shades and these. It actually works great and is pretty easy to set up. So for $400 I feel like I have $2k in shades! Very happy!

Great product but shipping times can make progress slow.
The seller was very easy to work with and helped walk me through what I needed. I originally ordered a single motor to be sure that the product would work with the roller shade that I had purchased (Stylewell Gray Blackout Fabric Roller Shade from Home Depot) which had a 24mm tube. Once I verified it would work, I ordered two more to fit my other windows. When I received the other 2, the correct size internal part that goes into the tube wasn't included like it was with the first motor I received. I emailed the seller and they sent one out free of charge. I was able to hook up the tubes to my Alexa with a BroadLink RM4 Pro hub.The only complaint I have is that all the products came from China so the process was extremely slow. I ordered te first tube in mid-June and I finally received the internal parts on August 24th. They would definitely get a 5-star review if not for the shipping times.Overall the setup works great and as my attached video shows, it works great with Alexa. I was able to set up a routine to open the shades in the morning and close them at night.

Well made but expensive
I have purchased 5 battery powered kits to automate my blinds. All the blinds have different IDs. Fortunately I am fairly technical and managed to order the correct size for each blind. Three of the motors slid straight in and the other two just needed 1 or 2mm of rubber shaving from the drive roller ribs. Some of the motors fitted straight into my existing brackets and but I had to fit different brackets to fit a couple of the motors. Like all tech, the setting up can be infuriating but once you have done one the rest follow easily. I was impressed that you first set the upper and lower limits and so far mine have kept to those limits. I am in the process of using a BroadLink RM Pro+ to raise and lower them when I am away but that is really infuriating. The first one was so bad I bought a second one ( they are less than £40) to see if it was any better. So far I can get all 5 blinds to go up automation the morning, but only 3 go down at night!! However if I manually press the down button on my iPhone the remaining 2 blinds do go down so I’m almost there. I’m trying to find out from Rollerhouses if they can supply me with a 26mm OD drive roller on a 22mm motor but I’m not getting any sensible replies yet. I’ll keep on trying. The 16mm motor comes with a drive roller of approx 28mm and that can be trimmed down to 26mm but I would like a larger motor as the blinds are long and heavy.

Disappointed
Looked okay, easy to set up however stopped working after 1 day, wouldn’t charge or operate so returned for a refund

Disappointed
Relatively easy to fit but not a very powerful motor. Also, beware if you are buying to use in UK. Comes with American two pin plug. Although requested - no adaptor supplied.More expense to buy one to recharge it.
