Logitech G35 7.1-Channel Surround Sound Gaming Headset

I almost did not buy these because of the few bad reviews it received and boy am I glad that I took a leap of faith in the brand that is Logitech. Let me list what I was looking for in a gaming headset and explain in more detail if the G35 fulfilled these requirements or not. 1. I wanted a headset that was going to enhance the gaming experience to a whole another level. 2. I wanted a comfortable headset that I could use for hours and hours. 3. I wanted my product to be made of quality material which would increase the chance of years of use. 4. I wanted it to be wired so that I can plug and go 5. I wanted a mic that was going to allow me to be heard clearly and drown any background noise. Alright lets start with 1. I don't understand some of the negative comments on why this product does not sound great. When I plugged it in and downloaded the most recent software from logitech website for this product it sounded amazing. This headset is made for GAMING ON A PC NOT XBOX OR PS3 (maybe they have an adapter IDK) not really for music although I encountered no problem with listening to music through it. Lets be honest Im sure there are plenty of other headsets that are especially built for music and would blow the waters out of this headset BUT this headset is first and foremost for gaming, if you are looking for a headset for music look elsewhere. Let me note this is a VIRTUAL surround sound( meaning it has only two speakers physically built in the actual headset and that the surround sound is given via logitech software NOT be your sound card on your pc. ALSO...I read that people wanted an equalizer for the headset and logitech has provided that with the latest software update. -I rate the SOUND QUALITY an A 2. I also read a lot of negative comments about the comfort of this headset, that it wraps your head like vise grips, and that it is too loose. Some of the people who wrote those comments must have had watermelon/peanut sized heads; maybe they did not see the 2 other pads that logitech gives you which you can switch out to make the headset tighter so it does not slip off your head. These headsets are extremely comfortable...I was worried because all the reviews about this headset says that it is suppose to cover your ears entirely. I was worried because I have pretty big ears and my other headset (turtle beach) that I use for my xbox the padding on it rest on my upper ear and hours of playing make it really uncomfortable BUT with the G35 they completely cover my big ears and feel amazing even after hours of use. Also because they DO completely cover your ears it really drowns out any background noise, so if your girlfriend is yelling at you or your doorbell is ringing it might be difficult to hear with the sound blasting in the headset. But I found that you can still hear if you just reduce the sound the headset so if you r waiting for a pizza delivery you will be able to hear it. With that said, Im 6 feet 4 so I don't have a small head but I don't have a huge head either so right out of the box the padding size felt great. But if you have a smaller head remember they provide you with two other size pads that u can place in. Also unless you r batman your ears will be completely covered. -I rate the COMFORT an A 3. I wanted my product to be made of quality material. The g35 is made of what seems to be metal and a hard rubber shell which gives it both flexibility and strength. As I stated before they are comfortable and the metal like material does not reduce the comfort level at all. I traditionally take care of my things really well and I never throw them down in rage. With that said, just because these headset r made of metal and a strong rubber I would not go throwing it around like it was a football. Come on they are headsets...they are meant to be worn not thrown. -I rate the QUALITY an A 4. Well, pretty simple I wanted it to be wired and it is (lol) the cord is VERY sturdy made to take abuse and long term. It looks to be a braided cord of some sort which I am seeing more often in gaming products...looks the same as my Razer Naga molten cord but thicker. I did read some comments about the cord being too long. They must have changed the length of it or maybe they did not but it does not seem to be crazy long...I would say just about the right length. As it is wired it is easy to transport and use when on the move...no problems...so far. -I rate the plug and go/ wired an A 5. Finally, I wanted a mic that would allow me to be heard clearly and I have had no qualms from my friends about the quality or the clarity of my voice. However, I was getting some "hate" from A friend about the sound of my new mouse buttons being too loud in the background. Now, when I use skype there is an option to play back the noise and my voice of my headset. AT FIRST, I could also hear my mouse clicking in the background, So what I did was go into the settings of my G35 and reduce the microphone noise then I used skype again to play back my voice and the background with the newly adjusted microphone volume; I could NOT hear the mouse clicking AND I could still clearly hear my voice like normal. I trust my friend but I think he is just bitter because I did not get the headset he recommended or maybe he has some crazy hearing ability that I cannot be for certain....What I am certain about is that when I adjusted the volume of the mic it helped reduced the background noise of my mouse clicking. -I rate the mic an B ( for my friend) So I hope this helped you decide whether to get the headset or not. As you can see I still ranked the headset 5 stars even with the complaint from a friend. If you do get it Im sure you wont regret it. Cheers.

The Logitech G35 7.1 surround sound headset really surprised me. I was not excepting the sound quality to almost equal my 5.1 surround sound speakers. I have an ASUS Xonar DX sound card and Logitech G51 155 watt surround sound speaker system. The mid and high range sounds of the G35 were very good almost equal to my speaker system. The bass was not as robust but it was not weak either. Setting up the G35 headset was not a problem with my Win7 64bit operating system. And if you use Ventrilo for communication in gaming, and you want to use the headset with it, just go into Ventrilo setup and choose the G35 headset in place of your speaker system. It is that easy. The headset can be programed so that you can push a button on the headset and select Ventrilo. You might ask, why would you buy the headset when you have a very good speaker system? Well, if and when I find the time to play my PC games, it is usually in the evening. And I like to play them with the speakers turned up about mid way, so that I can clearly hear the sounds all around me. My wife however, says the sound is too loud and so I purchased the G35 headset to accommodate her. I am planning to purchase two more G35 headsets in about two months for my son-in-law and daughter because we play Guild Wars on line together and they do not have surround sound, but they will when they receive the headsets. Update to my September, 2011 review. This edit was written on April 12, 2012. I have been using this headset almost everyday for about seven months and the headset sounds just as wonderful now as when I first purchased them. And the headset is just as comfortable as the first day I used them. Great quality Logitech. By the way, I wear glasses and I was concerned about the comfort of a headset. I was surprised how comfortable they are, even after wearing them for 2 hours of game play. I had both my son-in-law and daughter try my headset because they also wear glasses. While they did not have them on very long, both commented on how comfortable they were. I have found that the headset needs to be ajusted for comfort, I wear my headset on the number 7 adjustment. Update to my September 2011 review. This edit was written on January 8, 2015. The sound of this headset is still as good as the day I purchased it. I read discussion regarding whether this headset can really produce surround sound since it only has one speaker for each ear. Well it does in fact produce surround sound. I play Microsoft Flight Simulator X and I hear the planes according to where they are. If a jet starts up behind me, I hear it start up behind me, as I should. In addition, I play Guild Wars 2 and I can hear every sound around me. I can tell if someone is running behind me, to my left or to my right. If a character is speaking to the left or right of me, I hear them according to where they are. Therefore, if some people are not hearing the sounds around them in a game, it is not the headset, it has to be something else. In more than 4 years of use the only thing that has changed is the ear pads are showing wear. But they are still as comfortable as the first day I used them. I hope this helps someone, in deciding if they should buy this headset or another product. When this headset wears out, I will purchase the same again. Update, October 2018 I am still using the G35 head set. The rubber film on the ear pieces has wore off, but the headset is still comfortable. I have read reviews where others are saying they are not comfortable. I have a large head and I wear glasses, I play games using the G35 headset and they are comfortable for hours of play, they just need adjusting to one's head size. I also read reviews that talk about the headset easily breaking apart. I have had the same G35 headset since 2011 and it is now 2018, and they have not broken apart. If and when they break, I will quickly buy another set. I hope this helps others to decide to try this headset.

If you're looking to "gear up" for your gaming sound and voice interaction experience the Logitech G35's are not a bad way to go...if you have the extra bucks to spend on great looking, sounding headsets that most likely may not give you any better sound than a less expensive pair...read on... I just received my new Logitech G35 Surround Sound headset yesterday and so far I found it to be an extremely nice addition to my listening/gaming experience. I bought these mainly to initiate Windows 7 voice recognition for MS Flight simulator-combined with a wonderful cockpit voice interaction software package appropriately named "MultiCrew experience. These headphones work great with this and so I am confident that they will work well for other voice interactive gaming as well. Crysis also sounds awesome with these sets although I have not yet used the microphone with that game. FIRST IMPRESSIONS: I'm not dissappointed, but not blown away by any means--- I find the Logitech G35's to be well made and durable and they do look very, very nice. They come with two additional center headset cushions and the USB wire is braded with an attached "wire management" Velcro strap so you wont trip over the cord or so it won't get all tangled up with other gadgets plugged in to your USB ports. The "G buttons" and roll volume and "mute" buttons on the left side of the headet outer cup are a very nice feature and "finger touch intuitive" to use. Sound quality is excellent, but of course that is ultimately dependent upon which game you're playing, the sound perameters inherent in the game software, etc. Most games today as you all know have excellent sound driver protocols for high end dolby, etc sound. I have tried them with FSX Flight simulator, iTunes and Crysis so far. Sound is very good, but I would not say it is exeptional. My lightweight Bose headphones and even my older Koss Pro 3AA larger headsets sound noticeably better with iTunes... but, that's iTunes...not games, so...I want to be fair here... The comfort of wearing the phones is good. They are a bit heavy, but confortable none-the-less. The cups cover your ears nicely and comfortably, and keep outside noise to next to zero..so I can barely hear my wife yelling at me to "get off the sim and clean the house"...LOL PHYSICAL FEATURES & SOUND QUALITY: Nice, very nice--- The microphone is a swivel up/down and flexible bend design that is very nice. You can easily adjust the mic toward or away from your mouth as well as up and down. Voice quality is very good. I am using these on my high powered gaming rig on the built-in sound board and the sound through this is fine. Bass, treble and volumes all work well and deliver and nice blend of all ambient and direct sound effects. The "surround sound" function is a very nice feature addition and fares well with making your gaming experiences seemingly more "real" sounding but, I am suspicious that it is not really true "surround Sound"...read further... SOFTWARE USER INTERFACE FEATURES: Needs to be enhanced...big time--- I find the software user interface to be very limiting with what you can do with bass, treble, volume, mic, etc. It seems to be more focused on the "voice morphing" feature which is much better suited to my 9 year old son's gaming fun. I would never really have need to use this and I find that for a $120.00 pair of headsets it comes off as a childish feature that could and should be replaced with functions for adjusting the surround sound feature. The "profile" section is also limiting in setting up different profiles allowing you to pre-set different bass, treble and volumes for different games. It is locked to the factory pre-set G-button features such as iTunes, G35 sound, etc. Again, for headphones in this price range I was hoping for a more robust, feature rich user interface. Also, one quarter of the entire software user interface in occupied by a big glowing red ("Surround Sound") logo. In my opinion, this is a complete waste of valuable user software real estate that should be occupied with additional controls/settings for adjusting the "surround Sound" feature itself. It really comes off as more of a glaring and annoying advertisement for "Surround Sound" than anything else. I wish they would get rid of it or reduce it's size making room for other, more appropriate controls. Speaking of the surround sound feature, the only control at all for it is an "on"-"off" slide switch located on the back side of the left earphone casing. There is a nice red light on the voice tip end of the mic that you can set to be lit "always", "never" or on "mute". Why they did not include a setting to turn the light "on only" when the mic is "on" I think is a flaw. I would like to know that when the red light is on, the mic is "on" and when the red light is off, the mic is "off". That can't be done. A red or green glowing light usually means to me that something can also be on, or engaged. TECHNICAL SUPPORT: Very Impressive--- I contacted Technical Support regarding being able to use the headsets simultaneously with sound coming out of my external Bose speakers. It can't be done due to the USB/digital connection. But this not not at all a shortcoming of Logitech. It's the way these interfaces have to technically work. However, the tech support rep indictaed that if I went to an analog set up then it probably could be done. Anyway, no big deal since doing that defeats using headsets anyway unless your 9 year old son, etc wants to sxperience your voice interacting with the game over the room speakers. I could probably also just connect my other external mic and use that and the Bose speakers without the headset. The customer support was excellent. A bit of a long wait time: about 15 minutes on hold, but once they answered they went out of their way to connect me with second tier gaming support, etc. They were very polite and willing to help in any way. I was very impressed. SUMMARY: I'm looking for sound that'll "Scare me"..really...! The G35 Gaming Haedsets are a fine addition to any gamers' stockpile of gaming gadgets or for anyone who wants a really nice, high quality headphone set with a mic. Of course, there are other sets out there for less money that will most likely give you similar quality sound results, but, these are very well made and comfortable. I suspect what we are also paying more for here is the "Surround Sound" feature, which, I think may be more of a marketing gimmick for the $120.00 price as I noted above. I am suspicious due to the fact that Logitech's blatant lack of attention to designing and placing adjustment settings for the Surround Sound" instead choosing to plop a big red logo on their software user interface that does nothing but "look cool?" If they were really serious about the surround sound feature, wouldn't Logitech pay more attention to this feature? Apparently not, at least for now. Anyway, I will be testing these out more this weekend, but if you were to ask me right now if you should get a pair I would give you a reluctant YES until I determine if the surround sound feature is really a true enhancement to the sound sets already embedded and emulated in to the game software itself. However, if you are willing to spend the extra money for a surround feature that could turn out to be at best little more than a "sound separation" feature masked as "surround sound" then think about looking further and, spending a good deal more money...like for example on the $250.00 Astro sound system....??? But, If the Surround Sound feature is not a huge deal for you like it is for me then yes, get these. You wont be sorry. Never-the-less, so far I am impressed with these G35's as the comfort, base headset speaker and microphone sound quality are very good. But, I may change my mind and opt for something else if, in my opinion, it turns out that the "Souround Sound" Logitech touts with these to perhaps justify their $120.00 asking price turns out to be unworthy of a noticeably better gaming experience; Such as being scared out of my army boots because I can really hear and believe my ears and 6th sense that enemies are about to attack me from "behind the bushes". After all, isn't it that kind of realism we are reaching for when we invest a good amount of money into superior headsets? And, really, only true surround sound can affect that experience. In all fairness, I will continue to check these G53;s out on multiple games, ect, and write another addendum to this review in the next couple of days to let you all know. This headset is amazing in sound quality. I had this headset for well over 5 months until a burglar broke into my home and stole it. It is really sad for me, because this purchase was the best purchase ever. I'm really sad that I lost this piece. But me and family was ok and all good in the end. Story on the side, now the product review: This has the best quality i have ever had. the surround sound quality amazes me, It really feels like surround sound, as i can just barely hear if my family come around my room or not. I can just put the volume at 5-15 and it would still sound perfectly loud and clear (well i have somewhat of an ear sensitivity issue, which is why i tend to listen to things in the low volume). I bought a razer kraken pro, and trust me, the sound quality is nowhere near this. I had to do a lot of remixes on the headset, and the sound still wouldn't come close to the logitech. With the razer, i had to punch it up to 30-40 for it to have the same loudness and clearness of this logitech. At the same time, the set up was not pleasant for me on the razer. With the logitech it was much much easier for me. The mic quality is perfectly amazing, People can hear me clear and loud, and I really like how slick the mic design is. You can just flip it up to disable it, It would usually give u an alert sound if the mic is off or on. So that's a nice thing. The earcups are comfortable, but it does take a while for me to adjust them to get it to a comfortable level. Sometimes the memory foam just sits on my ear, but its probably just my incompetence in putting on the headset. LOL. But yes, its very nice piece of headset. I love that it has 3 different head padding. I use the 2 super thick one, since they gave me the best comfort while wearing it. The thin one, not so much, The thin one actually hurts my head, but its probably just me. Some people might be better with the thin one over the thick one. The only thing, which is more personal, is that I don't use the extra buttons at all. I feel like its a bit unnecessary. To me, it feels like so, since i already got the volume control on my keyboard, and that was easier for me to use. So yes, that is a personal thing. Some people want it, or need it even, I don't. Durability: Now this one, I cannot say much, because it was stolen after only 5 months of use ( i am still very sad by this). But that 5 months, it was still very durable for me. Before it was stolen, the headset is still extremely clean and slick. As for how long i can use this headset while playing games or listening to music: very long, more than 8 hours in the least. But this is subjective, honestly. Sometimes, when i have some what of a stressful day or a headache, wearing this would hurt my head after just 1-2 hours, Other times, yes about 8 hours. Sometimes i just put it on without anything to listen to, to block out all the noises outside, so i can concentrate on my work, for example, and i still would not feel any discomfort for hours. This is just how amazing it is to me, that i get to have some silence for a moment and concentrate. The Razer that i bought, nuh uh, comfortable, sure, but it would not have this same effect that this logitech has. In conclusion, I give this 5/5, and i would definitely recommend this to anyone that's looking for a quality and comfortable headset. This piece was a valuable item for me, since i purchased this when it was on a sale, but then the unfortunate event happen. I am still very sad, but at the same time, I really have to cherish the time i had with this headset. I will definitely be buying another one of this.

So I can tell you that if you're using this as a communication device and to listen to music or video games then it will be a good product to use, but you shouldn't bother getting this version, I would imagine the wired version is much better, and here's why. The wireless feature or signal from the USB dongle to the headphones is weak, you will constantly lose signal and sound with this, even with the dongle very close to the headphones. HERE'S A BIG ONE*** You cannot use this as a wired set of headphones if you connect the usb charging cable to your computer, so this is a wireless only headset. the third one is that the plastic is very weak and breaks easily, after a few months of stretching this over my head the plastic covering one of the heat pieces broke, it was the hollow piece that allowed the headset to rotate a bit. There's this very strange and dumb feature that auto shuts off the headphones which you need to search online on how to remove because it will turn your headphones off while you're still using them to listen to stuff. so overall as the Chinese say, "the price of tuition, or tuition paid" was what it cost me, because it taught me to not trust logitech with headphones at least because the quality was so lacking. in truth, it was the second problem which miffed me the most, I would of imagined that you could just connect your headphones and have the data be sent over the wire to be able to be used like a normal pair of wired ones but no, they decided against that for some reason. My dongle broke after a while because I constantly needed it to be close to my desk and it would fall off because of the dragged cable from the charging port which also doubled as a USB port for the dongle to move it around to get a better signal and the headphones were rendered useless from then on. I think if you got the wired ones you'd be happier at least use wise, but quality may still be shoddy at best.

After reading reviews for the G35 headset and finally making the purchase for them, I was expecting something a little better than what I got. I had purchased a USB set to bypass the barely adequate onboard sound on my motherboard, but it doesn't seem worthwhile for the sacrifices necessary to use this headset. The sound quality is average, with highs and mids being fairly decent but the bass is thick and muddy. I certainly wasn't impressed, and it's not good enough to fall into the range of other well-reviewed regular sets in this price range like Grado SR-80i's or Sennheiser HD280 Pro's. The surround sound isn't a big enough deal to compromise the sound quality and features necessary to use this set over comparably priced regular headphones, making these a bit pointless unless you really have to have a USB headset and can't use onboard sound. They're also really heavy; surprisingly and uncomfortably so. They're the heaviest set of headphones I've tried, and are considerably heavier than even a big set like the HD280's; there are included headphone bands meant to find a better fit, but I didn't find that they did anything at all to help with the wearer fatigue that the weight brings on. The cups also are a bit oddly shaped and pinch to your head on narrow cup edges, making them horrible to wear when I had my glasses on. They aren't as oppressive without glasses, but they still have an awkward and clunky fit that I don't care for. The software included with them provides functionality for the G-keys, but really nothing else at all aside from an indicator to tell you when it last received a surround signal. The bass and treble boosts in the software mimic the Windows functions available, and there was absolutely no other equalizer or tweaking to be done with the headset. Extremely disappointed in the software and lack of customization and tools offered here, especially when the higher-end headphones Logitech offers have software options that are missing here and shouldn't be. Software updates don't appear to be coming, either, as they haven't received an update since October of 2010. If you don't need the USB option and are determined to buy a gaming headset, the Turtle Beach gaming headsets are better sounding and lighter, especially combined with something like the EarForce DSS amplifier that the DX11's come with. A better option would be a modest headphone amp combined with a decent set of headphones, and it is going to get you something much, much better than what the G35 offers and can do it for a similar price. I'll either be returning them or giving them to someone else, and decided to go with a good pair of headphones and do something else about the onboard sound instead as these have too many downsides and are too restricted by the USB-only connection to make them worth the cost. Two stars as a pair of headphones, three if you really want them for the USB feature and headset mounted volume and G-keys.

If you are a gamer, there is absolutely no reason why you shouldn't have this headset. It can seem a bit pricey but when compared to other brands, Logitech often runs a bit cheaper but doesn't sacrifice quality in any way. Our peripherals are almost entirely from Logitech and they have never let us down. This headset is no exception. The installation was simple. You just pop in the included CD and install the software, plug in the headset, and you're done. You don't even have to install the special software if you don't want to, but if you want to make use of the G buttons and the hilarious voice changer you will want to install it. I was impatient and just plugged the headset in and started up World of Warcraft. I was completely stunned at the number of sounds I could hear that I had never heard before. I have a nice surround sound set for my computer and I've never desired for anything more than what I had because I've always had rich, clear sound from my speakers. But this is a whole different experience. I could hear the scattering feet of little creatures nearby, I could hear birds I'd never heard before, I heard details in the music itself that had just never been detected before. I immediately felt like I was *in* the world. I hopped into Age of Conan and again, was blown away by all the things I'd never picked up on my speaker set. I could hear my mount breathing! I could clearly hear NPC voices in the distance and I heard waves crashing against a nearby dock. All things I'd never picked up before. Rinse and repeat with EverQuest II. This headset alone made my husband and I want to replay some of our favorite PC games like Dark Messiah and Assassin's Creed. Sound quality aside, this headset has some unique features that will definitely make your gaming experience more seamless. The three "G" buttons can be assigned to all kinds of different tasks, like controlling your media player in the background without ever switching out of your game. This was a big hook for me as I very often listen to my own music when playing. I also absolutely love the microphone. It's totally flexible and adjustable and I do not have to worry about it breaking, ever! The mic auto-mutes when you move it away from my mouth. How cool is that?! It also has a mute button if you prefer as well. The volume button is also great and easy to get at. I only play in the evenings when my little ones are in bed and if I hear something on the baby monitor, I can immediately silence the sound without removing the headset. A huge plus for me. The headset is also super comfy to wear and comes with three different "pads" that you can switch out to find which is most comfortable for you. It's highly adjustable and has number notches on the band so you can remember your perfect setting if the headset is shared with others. Also a plus! The earpieces themselves are on durable swivel bases so it fits just right to the shape of your head rather than digging into the side of your face. They are pretty lightweight considering the size, much lighter than I thought they would be. I can easily wear them for several hours and have no discomfort. Even my favorite earbuds can't say that. Overall, the headset is a nice size, not too bulky but big enough to completely surround the ear and very effectively reduce most external noise, which really really helps you get into the game. Get yourself a big, bright LCD monitor and this headset and you will be completely immersed. I am hooked all over again on my favorite games as this headset has literally breathed new life into my PC gaming experience. I haven't tried these with my Wii yet, but I would assume they would work in any of the USB slots and the strong braided cord is 10 feet long, so I can see myself taking advantage of that as well. The entire headset just simply feels durable and expensive. It would take a lot of abuse to break this baby. It looks like it can withstand just about anything. Absolutely recommended for avid gamers who seek total immersion or even audiophiles who love to maximize the sound quality of their music. You can't lose with this headset!!

I've previously used a Turtle Beach x12 with the DSS adapter for true 5.1 and simulated 7.1 surround. The turtle beach was great until one of the earpieces broke off after about a year of regular use. I take care of my headsets, I hang them up on a spot where they won't fall to the floor while I'm not wearing them. I like to take great care of my hardware so it can last as long as possible. The Turtle Beach was broken and I needed something else that looked sturdier, with earpieces that weren't held in with pegs. I saw the Logitech G35 on sale for almost half off, and it was a truly superior product in every way... until it broke 3 months later. Same deal, regular use, an earpiece is now falling off as I type this. This is very frustrating to spend so much money on something that looks as sturdy as this does. I see metal and screws, great sign in my opinion. The plastic around the screws is falling apart and the earpiece is not sitting tightly against my head as it used to. It cost twice as much as the Turtle Beach and lasted half as long. Very disappointing considering the price tag and the quality of the audio. The mic is great and mutes when you turn it vertical, and has buttons on the side panel that you can customize. Luckily, Turtle Beach replaced my X12 for free. Now I need to get this one replaced. The serial number is tucked underneath the headband and is extremely small, you'll need a magnifying glass to read it. I'm about ready to swear off using any other Logitech products in the future based on this experience. Update: Feb 17 2014 The replacement headset Logitech sent me weeks after I contacted them did finally arrive, only now the replacement is already breaking in the very same way the original had, except on the right ear instead of the left ear. Honestly, I love the headset, but I cannot recommend this product with a straight face. This is very cheap plastic. I took better care of the replacement than the original. I pick them up, put them on my head, and hang them up when I'm done using them. I don't drop these things, I don't throw them around, I take very good care of my equipment. This is absolutely garbage and it's terrible that such a good headset has such a horrible design flaw. I refuse to contact Logitech every month for a replacement, this is absolute horse crap. Now, I'm looking for stainless steel replacement parts. This is a warning to anyone, even a casual user of headsets, who may be thinking of purchasing this particular headset. DO. NOT. BUY. THIS. PRODUCT.

Overall I really think this is a fantastic headset. The sound quality is awesome when I listen to music and the voice modulation are really fun to annoy your guild-mate on ventrilo. The mic deliver great sound capture, much better than what I was use to before, now people can actually understand what I say! The headset is also very comfortable even though I find it a little heavy and it can get a bit annoying after a long while. Also if your a fan of playing in 3D this headset doesn't work well at all if nVidia 3D glasses, the combination of the 2 is really uncomfortable/unpractical. Even with those few downside, I still think it's a fantastic headset.

ＦＰＳ（ＰＣ）において最高の位置情報を得られます。（とくにＡＶＡなどには有効） 周囲には高価なサウンドカード、ヘッドセットを使っておられる方もいますが、誰よりも音の位置、距離の正確性を発揮しています。 難点はイヤーパッド上部にある固定プレート（４本ビス留め）が極度に弱く破損してしまう所です。 私は５代目ということで、無事な部品をストックしていて多少の事は大丈夫ですが、４代目はその中の骨の部分が折れてご臨終。 ロジクールさんが、パーツなどのメンテ部品を販売してくれれば最高なのですが・・・ これを聞くとダメじゃないかと思われるでしょうが、５代目と繋ぐほどの性能が光っているのです。 シリーズに２３０、２３１、４３０、６３３、９３３などがありますが、ＦＰＳをするならＧ３５一択です。 上記のシリーズはある程度という感じで位置や距離感がボケます。 重低音の反響がある分、音楽などにはいいですが、ＦＰＳではクリアに聞こえないと反響で重要な音がボケる感じです。 装着感はしっかりしているので重さは気になりません。 頭頂部に当たるパッドは３種類あり、個々に対応できます。 締め付けがきつく痛いと言われる方もいますが、頭がでかすぎない限りそんな事もありません。 耳をすっぽり覆うので通常のヘッドホンのように耳が痛くなる事もありません。 色々書きましたが、簡略すると耐久性を補って有り余るほどのＦＰＳ特化性能があります。 ※注意 どれにも言える事ですが、音は全員が同じように聞こえるのではありません。 年齢や個々の差があり、これだけは天性の才能なのでどうする事もできません。 数人のサンプルをとりましたが、中には音の判別があいまいな方もいました。 こういう方はどんな物を使ってもしっかり判別できません。

pros: - Sonido perfecto tanto para llamadas, música y juegos. - Sonido totalmente nítido. - Monitorea los sonidos y te das cuenta de la dirección proveniente de este "en juegos". - La música se aprecia perfectamente, cada instrumento/sonido, sin ningún ruido, todo nítido. - Para llamadas, hasta se escuchan los perros ladrar perfectamente xD, también los gallos, cochis, gatos, regaños, todo escuchas nítidamente - Aísla completamente los sonidos, No se escuchan los sonidos "externos", y las personas no escuchan ningún sonido proveniente de los audífonos, "cuando los tienes puestos lógico". - Los botones andan perfecto, puedes cambiar volumen, pausar, retroceder o dar siguiente a la música, todo rápidamente sin necesidad de mirarlos. - El botón de mute para micrófono también perfecto, cuando lo tienes mute, la punta del micrófono enciende un led rojo para indicar que este está mute. contras: - Sólo encontré un inconveniente, cada vez que te acomodas los audífonos, pueden desplazarse lo largo de los audífonos, es algo mínimo, debería de tener un seguro para prevenir esto.
