Can you call for emergency services with this if out snowmobiling ?

If you are referring to 911, no. It is a 2-way radio, someone on the other end needs to be on the same channel as you. It works with persons in your group within a certain range.

I bought 2 of these radios together and they were scratched when I got them not new looking so right away I texted you guys and heard nothing back and

Sometimes the paper instruction inserts slide around inside the box, there’s a plastic protective barrier on the screen of the radios. It and not the radio face can look scuffed but as some haven’t realized, the protective plastic comes off. There shouldn’t be any other scratching on the contents of the box. Contact the company and they will certainly take care of it for you.
