I'm very pleased with this product
I ordered the eight camera system and set it up primarily for watching birds and wildlife in the backyard, both day and night. It works great for that.Be sure to first set up all your cameras near your NVR and mark them so you know where you will want to place them. This was basically just a plug and play process and took about 30 minutes for all eight cameras. It takes several seconds after a unit is plugged in before it will show up on the screen so have patience.I did set up the system hooked to the network so that I could watch on my cell phone. That helped me place the cameras so that I knew I was pointing them where I wanted without having to run back inside and check the angles on the monitor. Other than that, I don't use the phone to view.I put up four units in easy to mount areas and that took just a couple hours. There are three mounting screws to hold it to whatever you are mounting to. The other four cameras took about another three hours to mount.I set up all cameras to save both "time" and "motion" and that works great. You can go back and review and it will play seamlessly as it records each. One really cool feature that surprised me is that the motion part of the recording seems to start just a couple seconds before it could possibly see motion. That way if you are just viewing the motion part only, you can see how the scene starts before the motion actually begins. You can view all eight cameras at a time during real time viewing but only four while watching a recording and double-clicking on any camera view will bring it up to full screen. During playback, you can run it at 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x and 32x speeds to get to areas you want to view and then go back to 1x or pause. There is no backwards option but you can click on the progress bar and move back to start moving forward again. This unit only has a 2 TB hard drive. Others with eight cameras had larger and I was concerned it might not store much information but that was no problem. I have had the system running for about 6 weeks with all cameras running full time and still have over 30% of the space left on the drive. Apparently it automatically deletes the oldest data when it fills up but that has not been an issue yet.I haven't done much with the video backup other than testing. The instructions say you have to setup the backup, click the "Backup" button, pull out the USB mouse cable and stick in a USB stick. This is less inconvenient than it sounds. I just set up the NVR so all the cables are on the side rather than the back, so it is easy to switch out the mouse cable for the flash drive. The backup starts seconds after the drive is in place. I had purchased a 2 TB flash drive thinking I could just backup the whole thing and do my deleting of old stuff on the PC. That was not possible. First, make sure you have a FAT32 flash drive. There is a "Format" button so you can apparently format a drive to FAT32 but I have not tried that. I had a small FAT 32 drive that it turns out works fine. The reason a small drive works well is because you can't backup the whole NVR at once. You have to do it one day at a time and select the specific cameras and times you want to backup. This is inconvenient but once you know that, it should work out fine.I did have one camera fail after about three weeks. I contacted their support line and after they had me do a few tests, they determined it was dead. Response time for emails was excellent. From the time I sent my first email, through the several exchanges for testing and the point where they decided it needed to be replaced was less that 24 hours. I'm pretty sure I was dealing with someone in China so the time difference accounted for most of the delay. They sent out a new camera and I had it in about a week. The attached pictures show what the playback screen looks like. The first shows on the right how you can select the date and the four screens for playback. The bottom of that right side show how you can search by time or motion (the two options I use) and then go through and pick individual video clips. You can also just click on the timeline at the bottom of the center part of the screen and watch all four clips at once (the yellow on the bottom two screens are from taking the picture and are not in the actual camera views. The second picture shows the clarity and closeup after double-clicking the top left picture.I am extremely pleased with the product and support and highly recommend.

Great system... except...
We have the 8 camera WiFi set up in our 9500 sq ft auto shop with dividing walls. The reception in most cases is very good. They go down on occasion, but it's rare, and only for a short time. The night vision is so good that it detected a rat getting up on my desk one night! (the rat is now gone in case you're wondering!) The only issue I am having now (after a year and a half of owning this system) is that I need to take some of the video off the hard drive, but there is only 1 USB port on the unit, and it is for the mouse. If I remove the mouse, I can't tell the system what to do to get the backup transferred. I have left a message with the company, but have not received a call back, and today, their voicemail box is full. It would be a shame if I cannot get the video off the hard drive because then it just simply monitors and cannot be used show proof of anything it catches (unless you record the screen on your phone or something). Except for this pretty major flaw, we really like the system and the fact that you can access it remote from your phone app.

Great wireless security camera system
I ordered a 4 camera total wireless system in October and had to get help mounting the cameras as I'm not physically able to do so. But I love my this system. It was easy to set up. It's exactly what I need and the cost is very reasonable. The app helps me keep an eye on my place when I'm not home. Since I take care of my elderly parent, who is in a wheelchair, if they get an alert then all they have to do is look on their TV and see what's going on outside. This is the first security camera system I have ever owned and it's great!

Great for the Price! See Review Below
Great quality 1080p. Great night vision. The only issue I have with these NVR cameras is the disconnection of the cameras when they are setup in the wireless configuration. Worst “feature”: The motion detect is absolutely useless and does not work whatsoever. These are WAY cheaper than other options but there are some downsides.

I see you...
The cameras were easy to set up since system was preconfigured at factory. Would be nice if they labeled the cameras with the number they are assigned. Though waterproof not convenient to need a receptacle to power each camera. The mouse is horrible. To improve system use a better mouse and a keyboard. Entering passwords is tedious with the mouse. Picture quality is goo in full and low light.
