High quality DMX-controllable Light Bar
The media could not be loaded. I have many DMX-controllable lights – including similar products like the ADJ Megabars (in various lengths and models). So, I am familiar with this type of product in both form and operation. This fixture is very similar in many ways to those that I already own. Made of metal, takes up very little space (say against a wall or behind a drummer on a stage, etc.) and fully featured with different operational modes and DMX channel settings. And most important, nice bright colorful lighting! I got the 72w version and it lights up a large room. For immediate use right out of the box – with nothing but the power cord connected to supply power, you can operate the light without DMX control by the menu buttons on the back of the unit to designate various settings. This includes operational modes such as: Auto-run, Color-change, Sound-Activation, Color-fade, and Static-Color. Each of these settings is easy to access directly from the back panel. So, connect the power cord, take 10 seconds to choose your setting and let it run (i.e. for a party). It is very easy to do. And within the various main menu setting, there may be sub-settings that let you control the rate of change, or which RGB color you desire, for instance. It also has a Master/slave-mode. This is useful if you want to connect more than one of these fixtures together with a DMX cable. Set one unit as the “Master” and the other to be the “Slave”. Connect one end of the DMX cable to the DMX output of the Master and the other end of the DMX cable to the input of the Slave. When you do this, whatever the “Master” unit does, the “Slave” unit will mimic it 100% in sync. In other words, change the “Master” to be green and the “Slave” will be green. Or change the “Master” to be Auto-Run and the “Slave” will display the exact same thing every step of the way. This is really useful for a simple setup where you want to have more than one unit in use, but want it to run in some type of automated fashion. So get two and they run together easily. Finally, using those same menu buttons on the back, you can also set it to operate in DMX-512 Mode. This allows you to control the light with any compatible DMX controller. Connect the DMX output of your DMX controller to the DMX Input of the light fixture. Be sure to set the DMX address of your choice for the fixture as well as the “DMX channel mode”. It has DMX channel modes of 5, 8, 14, 26 and 50 – which makes it very flexible as it allows you to choose how many DMX channels you want to use to control the light. “5” channels would be simple RGB (one channel for Red level, a second for green and a third for Blue, plus chase choice and rate). And as you go higher on the selections, it allow for many more control functions – even including some very extensive control. This is akin to how many such bar lights work, so if you are used to controlling those, you’ll feel at home on this one. Once you’ve made your channels choice, then just use the DMX controller to make the changes each channel allows for depending on the mode.Everything about the fixture worked exactly as expected for me right out of the box. The light is so strong, varying and easy that I plan to set this up behind the drummer on stage and set it to Sound Activation mode so the light responds to what it hears. Great way to provide some movement to the stage without having to control anything – let the drummer’s playing do the controlling via sound activation. See the video I’ve included where I’m hitting a snare drum to change the light.I think this light is wonderful. It is in the same price range as competing products, but it is just as good as any mega-bar style lights I have and I wouldn’t hesitate to use it for professional gigs. I especially like how well it’s made and how much light movement it easily brings to the party or gig.Highly recommended!

Very bright and good colors!
Nice light with metal construction that feels like it could handle the road. I use two of these, as a mobile dj, for my facade. Good auto programs built in to the light, but note there is not a rainbow fade built in (at least that I’ve discovered). That being said, I control mine with dmx on showxpress. It’s easy to program and I find the sweet spot is in 8 channel mode. Thing is very very bright, I have to turn it down sometimes depending on the space. Color mixing and reproduction is pretty good as well, I’m very pleased with how nice it fades! Power cables are a bit short at just under 3 feet, power linking is nicely placed on the other end of the unit. Great value and great product, will be buying more.

Not pro but good lights for parties/dj use. Worth the price.
Pros: Very bright, dmx controllable, daisy chainable power, sound active. Can't comment on longevity yet.Cons: Slave modes don't work, LED's change color when dimming/flicker when fading Chases, can't dim during chases- even with master. So to have fading, you'll need to save color scenes and add to cue lists.

Economical and Bright
We have a largish DMX setup at our small church (2 universes with nearly both completely full). We used these fixtures to light up our scenic and to add some movement to a center light piece. For the price, these lights are very bright and work fairly well. I will say, out of 9 purchased, 1 was DOA and 1 had a DMX problem. I contacted YeeSite though and they replaced the fixtures and the new ones work without issue. I plan to purchase more in the future. The only warning I would give is, I expected with the 48 channels to have 8 controllable segments of 3 bulbs and that works fine. But with the 24 channel mode, I would expect 4 controlled segments with 6 bulbs each (essentially splitting the bar into quarters) and instead it lights up in segment pairs. So, if we split the bar up into segments of 3 bulbs named (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H) and we turn on the first 8 channels in a 24 channel setup, this will actually light up segments A and E, not A and B (segment pairs: AE, BF, CG, DH). I have a suspicion that the 12 channel probably has some weird split up, but I have not tested it yet.So, my one suggestion for improvement YeeSite would be to make the 24 channel and 12 channel modes light up consecutive light segments instead of splitting them up. Makes for better pixel light controls.
