Great True Wireless Headphones (with a small learning curve)
These are my first pair of true wireless headphones. I bought them after noticing them being put up against the Apple Airpods in reviews on various tech websites. I've heard of the Anker brand before, so compared to the hundreds of randomly branded ones you can find on amazon, I figured I'd start with these (even though the reviews on some other cheaper ones far outweigh the quantity of high reviews on this one. A lot of the cheaper off brand ones seem to have a large amount of gushing reviews that are filled with buzz words and pictures, which seems bizarre and conspicuous.)My previous headphones were Skull Candy Ink'd 2's. I loved them at first and didn't have any charging problems despite some of the reviews and pictures showing that they blow up/burn at the battery while charging. I didn't have that problem, however both ears started to go out. I would have to keep the cables wrapped up a certain way for them to keep working AKA they were going bad. Previously, I had 2 off brand wireless bluetooth headphones that were "retractable" into the neckband. Both of them had the same problem. One ear would go out, I'm assuming due to wear on the cables that kept them attached, with the second ear soon to follow. With all that being said, when I went to go buy a second pair, I wasn't getting one that relied on cables anymore. As for these Anker Soundcore Liberty Air's:Design- They look exactly like the pictures.....The buds come with multiple sizes of silicon ear pieces that you'd be used to seeing if you've gotten a pair of headphones before. They also came with a SECOND set of the same sizes that they come pre-installed with, which was neat since those are the ones that actually fit my ear, meaning I have a back up pair of silicon pieces of the size that I like. This is a personal plus though...Fit- They fit me just fine....They feel in my ears exactly like other earbuds have felt in my ears. They are very light, and since there is no cable, they end up feeling lighter on my head than wired earbuds, as well as lighter than my previous bluetooth headphones that had neck bands/cables. I do not notice the little arms coming out of my ear.Sound: They sound fine....I listened to a pretty basic pair of Skull Candy earbuds ($20 range) that I thought sounded fine for casual use before putting these in for the first time to get a good constant. When I put these in, they sounded almost identical to those. Very good for casual listening. Expect to get a sound that is comparable to other basic noise isolation earbuds. They plug your ear up, and the bass and clarity is fine.Bluetooth Connection: Whoa...I turned the Bluetooth on my phone (galaxy s7, old, I know), opened the lid on the earbuds, pulled them out, and immediately they showed up in my available devices list. I clicked on them, and they were immediately connected. Both ears worked and it was the easiest pairing I've ever seen. No "pairing mode" or anything was experienced and I didn't read the manual. I've got nothing to say about other people being able to connect to them without my knowledge, as I don't experience those environments, but its something to keep in mind if you are concerned about that.I work in a workshop based inside of a metal building with lots of insulation. My old Bluetooth headphones would disconnect when I walked into the back area of my building when I left my phone in my room. With these headphones, I can walk around my entire building (which is about the size of a large house) and these headphones stay connected the entire time. Obviously, your experience might be different based on your situation, but to compare these with the Skull Candy Ink'd 2's, these have at least double the range. I can leave my phone on it's wireless charger in my room, and never pick it up once i get music or TV playing to keep the earphones connected. My wife and I sometimes work together, and the other day when she was with me, I gave her my left earbud while I kept the right earbud, and we both listened to a podcast together. I was able to walk around multiple rooms while she remained stationary, and both earbuds stayed connected to each other and to the phone. I love this feature. You can use the right earbud on its own as well, however the left earbud does not work unless the right earbud is connected. So far, this is the best Bluetooth connectivity performance i have experienced with any product.Use- Small learning curve....If there are any connection issues, (earbuds disconnecting, one ear not working etc...) just pop them back into the charge case and then pull them back out. I've had to do that a couple times, but that was during a time when I either got caught up doing something and walked too far from my phone, or when I had to remove a bud from my ear and leave it sitting on the table while I went and did other things. All my problems with this I will deem USER ERROR. When in proper use, these things are great. There is no dedicated volume control on the earbuds, however, its a double tap ON EITHER ear to pause, and a 2 second hold on right ear to skip forward, 2 second skip on left ear to skip back. Those functions have worked reliably. I took a phone call once on these, and they worked fine. Audio sounded good and my wife said I sounded fine on the other end.Charge Case: good battery, small package.Fits in my pocket, charges quick, well made. LED battery indicator. Magnets to hold earbuds to charger prongs. I listen to these for about 4 hours, then put them in charge case during lunch 30-45 min, then put them back in and they last another 4 hours to cover my whole 8 hour work day. when I leave work, I pop them back into the case and slip them in my pocket, by the time I'm home (30 min) they are ready for yard work/gym. I actually havent had them die on me yet when I've wanted to use them.LOSING THEM? Thats a beast of this type of product inherently. I havent lost mine. Conclusion: So far, so good.Depending on how long they last, as of right now, I will have a strong urge to order them again if they break considering their ease of use. There might be a cheaper brand that work just as good. I chose, these, and i dont regret it (bought the white ones for 49.99)

Outstanding customer service!
This review has been a long time coming! I've had these earbuds for six months, and they're still going strong. They're a replacement pair, because I bought my original pair two weeks prior and they had begun malfunctioning slightly. Basically, they were fine, but if you paused or stopped your music, the left earbud would sound like it was repeatedly "turning back on." Just an annoyance, so I tried to fix it by charging them, resetting the Bluetooth connection, depleting them completely, resetting them, and so on.They weren't like this at first so I knew it was a malfunction. I got on Anker support chat, and after describing my issue and everything I'd tried, they promptly escalated me to Britney, who was extremely helpful and walked me through resetting my particular version of the earbuds (the procedure was different from what I saw on the Web) and asked me to try them for a day to see if it helped. Britney followed up via E-mail a day or so later, and the issue still persisted, so they sent me a replacement! The whole experience was pleasant, and Britney followed up with me to check that the replacements were working well, which they were. And now, six months later, they're still working great!Moral of this story: Anker has great customer support, and although I originally received a pair which was mildly faulty, this sort of thing happens. I mean, think about all the technology packed into these tiny earbuds that play wirelessly for three hours straight, and are water resistant on top of that... the margin for error must be tiny. And Anker customer support helped me resolve the issue promptly and cordially.About the earbuds themselves, here's how amazing they are: I left my lab at school and walked 30 paces down the hall, around the corner, and down another hall, and the music started to stutter and cut out. I thought, "what's wrong with my phone now" and reached for my pocket. But my phone was still in my lab! I'm floored by how far away I walked before even noticing anything. Their range is incredible.I read reviews saying that the touch controls were laggy, but honestly, you just tap twice to pause and you know it's going to pause. Tap twice again and it resumes. Hold for skipping. You get muscle memory, like with anything else, and it becomes second nature. Also, the touch control is extremely comfortable! No mechanical buttons, so you're not pressing the earbud into your ear just to control the playback. These have good isolation, meaning if you ride on the bus or train (or plane), they cut out a lot of droning background noise. I view it as hearing protection for you, especially because it allows you to listen at lower volume levels and still be satisfied. They do not have active noise cancellation, but I specifically don't want any. ANC uses battery, and itself generates noise which is supposed to cancel out background noise. All I want going into my ears (for now) is music. They provide differently sized bud tips and while I normally would choose small ones, I found that the larger ones help the earbuds stay put and acoustically sealed a little better. Note that getting these earbuds to sit comfortably in your ears takes a bit of practice due to their shape (and avoiding the touch button), but you'll get it. They're fast charging and easy to pair. The sound has a decent amount of bass, not overwhelming, and the sound is clearer than my cheap wired "sleeping" earbuds that I use for running and when wearing hats. These Liberty Air earbuds stick out ever so slightly, so become uncomfortable under a hat; and they're light, but still heavy enough to want to come out when you're running (especially after starting to sweat as one does when running). But for commute, and work, they are more than perfect. If you're looking into some affordable, high quality, customer service-backed earbuds, I'd suggest these, but also check out their newly released Liberty Air 2 earbuds. Those have USB C charging, which definitely sweetens the deal! And looks like an improved case design and longer play time. But mine are working so well, and I haven't had them for that long, so I can't justify it. Very tempting though! These Liberty Airs join my Soundcore 2 speaker from a year ago, and I think I'll stick with the Anker ecosystem for a while. Definitely recommended!

Recensione completa

wouldn't pair
spent over an hour trying to pair these 'premium' earphones and couldn't. I've had lots of Bluetooth devices and pairing has never been an issue. these were awful. manual was useless too. couldn't get the 2 earphones to pair to each other so only had sound in one ear. After an hour of googling and trying things, I sent them back. waste of time and money

Great alternative to AirPods and they’re waterproof!!
Just got these delivered today and really impressed. Packaging makes them feel premium and the buds themselves feel high quality. I had a pair of Beats X prior to these and the sound quality is better with richer base in the Soundcore Liberty Airs. They paired really easily with my Apple Watch and iPhone X and I get the same battery info I got with the Beats which included the W1 chip. The case is great with clear battery life display. Only thing I would have liked would have been usb c however no problem as I use a micro usb regularly with my Anker powerbank. These are a brilliant alternative to AirPods and they are waterproof which is an added bonus.
