Kimberly Bay Closet Door, Bi-fold, Traditional Louver-Louver Clear (80x30)

This item is solid wood and seems well built for the cost. It came well packaged and included all necessary hardware and clear instructions. Installation is relatively simple if you're handy. It worked well for my purpose (keeping the cats confined to the living room at night) and I would definitely recommend it. However, I wouldn't call it heavy-duty, the slats are a bit flimsy (and there are many, so its quite time consuming to paint). Overall I'm happy with the quality and value of this product and would purchase it again.

These were well made and carefully packed and arrived quickly. They worked well for us, especially since we had an odd sized closet door space in an old house. (only 79" high). I would just caution you that if you are going to shorten the doors as we had to, redrill the hole for the hardware deeper before you cut them off and also, the instructions recommend the doors should be two inches shorter than the actual door opening but we found the doors to be a bit short when we did that and we ended up having to fabricate a wooden threshold to make the fit look a little better. Maybe start by making them an inch smaller than the opening. Cutting them off with a table saw was no problem and we were able to do it while the two doors were still connected by hinges.

Well made doors dimensions are quite accurate across two sets of doors. Did have to cut the doors with down a 1/8 inch per panel and 1/4 inch off the bottom to fit the opening. As I was staining and these being pine I had to use a pre-stain. Still had some blotching but overall they turned out nice. My only complaint is mounting hardware a could be a little higher quality. But I guess they probably had to meet a price point. It works but not as smooth as I thought it should so that's why not a 5 star rating.

I replaced (taskrabbit installed) cheap metal sliding closet panels with these wood folding doors. I live in a studio and the living space now feels larger. I may stain the wood, but not necessary. If my space was larger, I would consider painting. I brought two doors and together fit perfectly. Saw others for twice the cost, and not sure how they could be better. The doors are beautiful and cost effective. The packaging was great and arrived before promised. The wood, while not the heaviest, works great and very stable. The panels come already together, so all that is needed is hanging the doors and putting on the knobs. Kevin C., the installer, took just an hour to have the job perfectly done.

Used to make a closet door. Works perfectly

I replaced 2 older sets of closet doors. By older I mean 1954 plywood sliders. Having an aged notty pine ceilings and matching trim I had to stain the doors to match, the wood observed the stain so evenly they turned out beautiful and the build quality of the doors are excellent. I’m very happy with the 4 doors I purchased.

Product was delivered quickly. However, parts are missing. Several screws are not present as listed on instructions. Make sure your measurements are correct. My was fairly tight despite measuring it as suggested.

I'd give it 6 stars if i could, easy to install looks great.
