Arrived quickly in two flat pieces. I started with the installation tip from seller but changed it slightly to attach to air bricks. Cut to fit the recess. Hold it against recess to ensure it's the correct size and will be flat, cut off any excess, or chip out any bumps on air brick like paint blobs or cement. Get the mesh nice and flat - place on flat surface to find curves and then bend out any curves, checking it against the flat surface until properly flat, it won't stick properly if not flat. I found that the neatest finish was to apply a line of clear mastic around edge of the mesh, this was also easier than applying mastic to a wall. Carefully line up mesh with recess and gently hold it in place. I then gently dabbed my finger around mesh edge to secure to the mastic. I then ran my finger along the mesh to remove excess mastic, then around the edge to seal edge and remove excess. Looks really neat that way. I didn't need any mastic on top, that just makes it look naff/ messy job. I also used a piece to bug proof an old flue, I added three lines of mastic just to make sure it stuck to the concrete! I can't see how any bugs are going to get past the mesh, I'm just sad I won't get so many spiders as they are the only bugs I like in my house because they eat flies. Good bye vine weevils and moths, yuck...

I got this as our rabbit had decided to east his way through the original cage mesh. In my rush to find something in the correct size I ordered this. On arrival I realised that it’s a very fine weave although the meta is very strong in construction with it being woven like thread rather than soldered at each point the grids cross. It’s easy to handle but you do need the right tools it you want to cut it to shape (this is because it’s strong so a good thing!) I ended up folding it and stapling to the hutch. Due to the size the rabbit has been unable to bite it although it does reduce the light in the cage. Really it’s for keeping out smaller animals or creepy crawlies from vents or holes etc. All in all though it is well made and I can recommend without second thoughts

Perfect. I'm converting an ikea detolf cabinet into a new terrarium for my gecko and needed some mesh to cover the top. Worked a treat and sizing was great.

This is a nice quality mesh that is well made and easy to cut and fabricate. I liked the quality of this product as the mesh size is small and it is not easily deformed or damaged. The mesh is a quality stainless steel and resists the elements as you would expect. Happy to recommend this product for pest control though to vents in equipment enclosures. Andrew
