Everyone's hair can respond so differently to a product that the mixed reviews can leave you just plain confused and unsure of what to buy! I am really glad that I chose this product out of the dozens of options available. I chose it in part due to the glowing reviews, but also due to its relatively low EWG rating. My daughter is of Asian descent and has very fine, straight hair. After a bath, her hair is a tangled mess that is hard to comb out. I was a bit skeptical of how well this would work, but I followed the directions and was pretty amazed at how EASY it was to comb her hair! The scent is pleasant and light. I could not smell it after her hair dried unless I put my nose into her hair. There was no residue from the product to make her hair feel sticky or weighed down, she just had clean, soft, beautiful hair! While I wouldn't say that her hair was shiny, there was a nice healthy sheen to it. My two kids have a lot of curly blonde hair and this spray doesn’t make it feel dirty like some products. It helps to detangle and smooth and I like that it doesn’t have nasty chemicals. I might need to try something a bit heavier or more concentrated as it takes a lot of product to comb through their type of hair and I can’t afford to buy this as often as I will need to in order to manage their hair.
