A real cyclists book
Cycling's Golden Age is a wonderful coffee table book that belongs in every cycling aficionado's library. The photos and stories of cycling's true hard-men are both interesting and inspiring. It is made up of personal vignettes, tales of classic road battles, and plenty of photos of the riders and period memorablia. The book covers the big guns of this classic cycling era, from Bartali to Gimondi of Italy and Bobet to Aimar from France as well the other European greats. Equally interesting are some the lesser known riders whose stories add to the fabric of this great era of cycling.

Cycling's Holly Monsters
I found this book a trip back to vintage and historical era of heroism in cycling! You get to realize how much difficult was racing those days without today's technology of bike gear and support. The pictures are really good and I found myself ''lost'' back in those days. A valuable book for the cycling enthusiast. A return to our roots...

A must for any cycling lover
Larger format shows off vintage action photography to advantage. Addition of photos of Horton collections memorabilia was great. Text informative.
