Strong and Sturdy
I bought this one to have an extra, since I like the old one I have so much. Have had it for years and will have it many more. It just works great.

Great spark!
Haven't field tested this one yet but, it puts out a hell of a spark. I guess that's why it's a top ten rated flint and steel. Which is why I bought it in the first place. Pretty nifty tinder storage in the handle, too.

Great life saving piece
Has a compartment that I keep the cotton balls with pine sap in. Lights up even on wet ground. Keeps working in a light rain

Decent product
I've used this most of the summer and it works pretty well.I wish the sparking rod was a little longer but it is still ok.The strings keeping the two halves together definitely should be longer. That is my only real complaint with this product. I feel a little hamstrung when striking. But thus far I've started every fire I've started, about 15 in total this year.
