Others in this category sometimes use a plastic backing to protect the adhesive; that can become a mess.The heavy wax paper on Grace Select makes separating and applying reasonably easy, especially with two guys working it. Not one to give 5 stars very often, but this, I think, deserves it.

When the weather was cool, it had trouble adhering. When the weather was warm, it became super sticky and difficult to manage alone. On the one hot day I had, it was impossible to keep from sticking to itself no matter how careful I was. Even the backing became harder to peel off! Had to wait until it cooled down.There is no center seam to help make application easier, just 40"-wide backing that really likes to rip as you peel & apply as you roll. This gets very awkward when you lay it down and find the backing had torn somewhere and stayed on the film; I wasted several yards because of this.I recommend two people apply this stuff. Once its down though, it's great stuff.

I used this to patch some areas on my roof while im saving money to completely replace it. I have had no more leaks in those areas.

Very high-quality product, thank-you modern industry. Put it around the edges lapping over a bit. Then put down your drip edge metal. Put your underlayment on top of both of those. Be sure to use synthetic underlayment. Old school roofing felt is a joke in comparison.

I needed one more roll to finish my roof. I purchased online thinking I was getting a deal. The product became brittle and ripped off the roof overnight even though it was installed with capped nails 6" oc.The original product used on the rest of the roof is still intact weeks later.oh and it is slick as s***
