plus a great deal more
I was expecting a winner when I bought this book...and I got it. The author has presented many posts on 'Streets on the O Gauge Railroading blog. This book brings them all together, plus a great deal more. He has, I'm sure, written more on this topic than anyone else, and in my opinion is the top authority on the subject. He covers the history, technical aspects, and potential for building your own 'Streets vehicles and layouts. Illustrations and charts are well done and easy to understand. 'Streets has lots of potential for model building fun, and this book gives you a solid foundation to build on to enjoy it fully. For the 'Streets novice, or the long time user, this book is a basic source for the information you need. I highly recommend it.

'Streets for O-Gauge Model Railroads: A Guide...
I bought a bit of "SuperStreets" a few years ago. THis book helps the operator to incorporate this specialized track into a toy train layout both with the provided vehicles and an assortment of trolleys for which it is perfect. The author shows how to add to the street so it is much more realistic including street corners, parking lanes and even center medians taking into consideration overhang and clearance between tracks. I will have to experiment with the methods demonstrated in the book an d see which of my trolleys will make it around the very sharp curves without derailing....Minitoys, Bowser, Lionel and others.

Five Stars Isn't Enough...
The number 1 source for all things 'Streets. Lee has done a great service to the O railroad community by sharing his vast knowledge of 'Streets and how to get even more out of the system. Lee's take on the vehicles and how to best power them, was one of the most important things I got out of the book. He's very generous with what he has learned when on the O Gauge RR Forum, he has expanded on the subject in a big way here.As I continue to build my layout, I will be able to incorporate much of what I've learned in Lee's book on 'Streets.

I think that having vehicles that move adds realism and enjoyment to viewing a layout
I found the book to be very helpful for those who are thinking of adding "streets to their layout. It goes into detail about the vehicles used as well as how the strets can be used. I am sure I will consult i t when I am building my layout. I think that having vehicles that move adds realism and enjoyment to viewing a layout. I recommend it to anyone who wants realistic looking streets on their layout.

Illustrations are good, text is limited
I read about this in Classic Toy Trains magazine. I THOUGHT it was about detailing toy cars for more realism. That's what the revue indicated. It's really about converting rail automobiles to street operation on your train layout. This is a very limited field for train operators. If that's your bag,buy it. Illustrations are good, text is limited.
